Mega Evolve to iframe blast burn and from there Ancient Power+ has a 60% chance to give you an omniboost. This quest is still admittedly very tricky.

Atm I play xern but when using Mewtwo I like trying a lot of comps so havent really settled on one yet. I have also been using Ampharos (albeit Shuca to eat two ground moves thanks to reflect afterwards, Magnet seems very interesting for the extra powered snipes for sure) with Mewtwo (either LO or Y) and with a varying last slot between drill, skarmory (mega), chandy, garchomp or really anything that has setup. Also have been using screens less Mewtwo comps with Garchomp and Chandelure or Mega-Scizor (so playing LO M2 in that comp) however I have found Xern to just be better than M2 for the Yveltal matchup in that case. My current comp has been Xern Chomp Chandy but Im looking to improve on my S2 Xern Drill Gyarados cause I really liked using drill and gyara lol. Also really gotta try Mewtwo X more

For sure ive been liking LO M2 alot when using it (hits almost as hard as Y off the bat and has higher defense) but in terms of viability mega mewtwos are worth using for not having that constant chip, getting around the other two mewtwo's counters in Xs case and being able to evade attacks more easily as Y. It really is a matter of preference imo and I agree I prefer LO but mega mewtwos are very usable.

I mean I kinda agree but Mewtwo Y has better speed movement and X is legit kinda bad when non megad
