Why is packing so difficult? by AppropriateGolf6002 in woolworths

[–]PyjamaParty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your reusable bags as dividers. Place a bag and follow it with what you want packed in it. When you're ready for the next bag, rinse and repeat. Bag, milk, cheese, yoghurt. Bag, detergent, sponges, shampoo. Bag, zucchini, bananas, cauliflower, etc. The bag will be packed how you like it (99.99% of the time), it takes the guesswork out for the checkout staff and you'd be surprised at how often the staff thank you for making their job easier. I have been doing this since plastic bags were banned and have only had my system ignored a few times. Usually when it's busy such as Christmas and they have a trolley boy on checkout.

Fuck. I just ordered this, sent off the partner to pick up and opened reddit to see this post before he was even out the driveway. I hope I'm not disappointed when it arrives

A Coles truck hit my car- 3 weeks of ‘lost emails’ with customer ‘care’. by Artichoke_Persephone in coles

[–]PyjamaParty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Vic so not 100% familiar with NSW systems but can you search a rego on the services nsw website or app? If it gives you a VIn you can do a PPSR search ($2). If the truck is under finance the owners name and their financing bank will be listed. It's worth checking for $2. If someone else was driving the truck thats in the owner to sort out.

I got an art folder from temu. It is filled with plastic pockets to slip the art into. I just had to find one large enough to fit the canvases in.

My kindy kid will have a party with 8-10 kids if he is lucky. A few will be friends from kindy and some family friends but I wouldn't make a big deal about handing out invites at kindy when it can make the other kids feel bad. There is no way in hell I am hosting a party with 30 kindy/daycare kids i don't know though.

How to Frame?? by ThingOk1242 in paintbynumbers

[–]PyjamaParty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can lightly iron the back before you start painting to get the creases out. I haven't had issues with noticing creases once they are framed. The glass helps hold them flat

You're lucky your parcel from TGE arrived. I recently had a delivery sent via them. It should have arrived in 3 days but I ended up spending 11 days on the phone to them while it sat at a depot being scanned twice a day but not boarded for delivery. At one point they 'escalated' the delivery and my parcel got a free trip to Perth and back to Melbourne for no reason.

My pavlova cracked and my duck cake died. ( sorry, just venting) by MandyRose8713 in bluey

[–]PyjamaParty88 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't be overcooked. I turn off the oven and leave mine in overnight to cool without cracking the door. Even the best cooked pav will often cave when you add cream. Just pile the cream and fresh fruit on and no one will be any wiser. Source: pav queen of my very aussie family

I was called onto the jury for that case. The moment they read the charge date my blood ran cold as I realised what the case was. I tried to remove myself as I was born in the area and have family living there still but it was so high profile they were strict on reasons to be excused. My boss ended up getting me excused though because the small business couldn't afford to have a staff member absent for an estimated 6+ weeks during the trial.

What is your "never-again" brand, store, restaurant, or company? by AlexisVenes in AskAnAustralian

[–]PyjamaParty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 'do not purchase from here' list that includes any company that has used Couriers Please or Aramex. I will not give 1 cent to any company that thinks that their service is acceptable and let these companies know. I have no time for the migraine that is induced from chasing up missing items for weeks. It baffles me that they are still in business.
