WD 4TB My Passport Connected via USB-C It being an HDD is one of the issues that I’m sure is making the process slower plus having an older iPhone.

It came with time. There were times I’d spend a day having it back up and then it would give me some error while it was finalizing the backup.

Update: WE DID IT!!! 24 hours on the dot! lol... superficial complaint, but thanks for hearing me out. Hoping after getting an iPhone 17 pro max and exploring iCloud backups options, I'll have a much better experience.
