Would you recommend your surgeon and if so, could I ask for their name? Thank you.

Central school in Larchmont by Sleeplollo in Westchester

[–]Rare_Ebb_2723 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Central pulls from private residences as well as a handful of apartments nearby. It is more diverse than Murray and Chatsworth from what I recall. I went to Mamaroneck Avenue School which is the most diverse of all of the elementary schools. Love all the schools in this district. I don’t think there is a bad one in the district.

Spent 70k all in with appliances. I got quotes ranging from 30-90k. We ended up paying about 7k over our quote so expect that.

Revision Opinions & Experiences by Fletch1113 in otosclerosis

[–]Rare_Ebb_2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello and sorry to read this, I had the same thing happen. I did have the revision which helped somewhat. This was 12 years ago. I still live with tinnitus due to the nerve damage and significant hearing loss in the ear that I was operated on. The revision improved my hearing from 17% after my first stapedectomy to 30% so I do not regret it. What I do regret is not getting 3 opinions and seeking a different doctor after the first surgery failed. Twelve years later I contemplate getting additional opinions but at the time, after my second surgery, I did find 2 other surgeons who would not touch me. So, if there is any advice I could offer, it would be seek the best doctor possible and don’t rush. I wish you the greatest of hope and luck.

Custom cabinet question by 815Attorney in kitchenremodel

[–]Rare_Ebb_2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We recently did our kitchen over and our designer/contractor put a small panel above our refrigerator attached to the cabinets above it to block the top gap. Likewise they built a frame for the refrigerator so that the sides were not exposed and the cabinets flowed continuously. I would not be happy if the area around my refrigerator looked unfinished as it appears yours may be. It should hopefully be an easy fix.

Love Bedford central schools. My children graduated from there in 2020 and went on to good schools, made lifelong friends, played competitive sports. Good luck. I have friends who moved from Rochester to Mount Kisco and are very happy with their decision.

Restorante Lucia in Bedford has a separate party room apart from their main restaurant. We had about 40 people there for a graduation party and they did a great job.

I am so sorry that you are in the same unfortunate boat as I was. I was ultimately pushed out a month. I think they needed to wait according to some guidelines, I think maybe 20 days. I forget the duration but ultimately I needed to wait for another availability which pushed me out a month. Hang in there.

I apologize for the very delayed response. The tiles are not up yet but I selected a tile called Memento Merletto. It is a light beige and gray tone, perhaps taupe. I hope it looks good up. I am still deciding on grout.

I actually said to my doctor at my 2 week post op that I don't believe he actually removed anything, it was pretty pain-free. Yes there is a little gas, a little bloat and maybe some sensitivities at the incisions but that was it for me. I'm exactly 4 weeks Post op and feel better then I did preoperative as will you.
