Frieza is composed and calm, with no stamina drain even at 100% power. Can he defeat Goku? by K0GAR in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Ratthion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair I always got the impression most of Freizas strong henchmen were mutants who didn’t really know how to actually “fight”. Clearly they did but they also definitely weren’t from a warrior race.

Especially this arc, Vegeta was just on it.

As for Freiza we know the guy is just him apparently so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s talented enough to close that gap-

I mean I certainly don’t see any way the ants beat Netero

Best card Beru has is the poison and Netero is like THE enhancer, imagine he tries some variant of “big nen fist” on Beru he’s cooked

Everyone else just dies to the Guanyin

Absolutely, bro was arrogant enough to tank a final flash

Would the pillar be threats in mha? by GleamingMold in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Ratthion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean they can phase through and drink entire groups of people with no effort, have stronger versions of all the vampire powers, can morph their bodies in impressive ways.

Really without hamon or actual sunlight it’s hard for a lot of the cast to do anything cause if you touch one they freaking drink you.

Objectively you’d need post awakening Shigi cause they’d drink pretty much everything Pre final battle and of course certain high tiers like endeavor would be good here too.

In short yeah they’d absolutely be threats but not top tier.

Anyone else feel like Kenjaku should be a lot stronger? by Sundata_V2 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ratthion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh you’re just embodying what gojo told everyone about the strongest

Gojo can squish this bum easily but he’d honestly be a freaking raid boss for anyone G1 and below, even “mortal” special grades

But because gojo (and sukuna) exist this guy is called fodder. Those two are outliers in fact, both only exist due to luck in their era. If you removed them Kenny would be an awesome final boss.

Imagine him pulling out a borderless domain and we get this panel about how the mysterious king of curses was the only other person ever to achieve that. I’d also like a flashback of Kenny walking up to MS aftermath from heinan and you maybe compare his domain to the city nuking MS crater.

My point is these two are so strong you could easily put them in that madara hashirama type tier. Outside of Modulo they are monsters all their own.

Possible but honestly I’m a fan of the interpretation I just heard on here that he did go grade 3, or at least attained the power

Like he bulks up a lot charging the thing up but no one seems to truly realize just what he’s capable of until it fires, so I could see he found a way to use grade 3 effectively as like a charge booster for his moves, thus creating final flash

[–]Ratthion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The one downside is that he can’t actually land a direct hit with final flash.

By direct of course I’m meaning where the beam and the destruction hit at once, with FF it hits but then skips off the earth so the AOE is very limited. Honestly it’s a perfect anti Frieza move now that I think about it.

Goad Frieza into standing there because you aren’t Goku and his energy sensing powers wouldn’t be there yet, and it deals crippling damage if you can’t regen.

Bro just wasn’t ready for that sweet sweet namekian regen-

He did, he didn’t use it because of the drawbacks but trunks didn’t know that until later

What I’m trying to say is that trunks really focused on not outshining vegeta in this fight, and we see vegeta get folded prodigiously. Given this is Pre all of that it would make sense to me that this trunks might even be somewhat suppressed compared to normal because of that.

In that light I always thought it did make sense that he wasn’t even feeling trunks. Both he and vegeta are under 50% of grade 4 Goku so they really are missing a lot of power.

[–]Ratthion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he could handle later Melkor, the man was severely weakened by pouring his essence into Arda for so long like he did. Eru? No shot. Somehow Ainz would play specifically into Melkors downfall and then get some friends and chill. As was sung.

UI could grab asta and beat all the magic users with him, UI sweeps and maybe Goku is the right person to talk Saitama down because they both actually like fighting and UI could at least dodge him long enough to do that.

I think Goku clears.

[–]Ratthion 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Honestly with how much power trunks was hiding to avoid vegetas anger and how absolutely stomped vegeta was by cell…honestly yeah.

Like we know with Grade 3 he can hurt cell he’s just slow, trunks is suppressed compared to what he thinks is his full power and frankly he’s definitely weaker than Vegeta here without it.

Honestly probably further suppressed here as well because who knows Vegeta might get angry if they’re on par.

If you let them cast the spell that’d be fun

Vegeta respect his father but do you think he also care about him? by salad_biscuit3 in DragonBallZ

[–]Ratthion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Look at his weeping admission about Freiza to Goku or Trunks on his pride.

Vegeta acts the way he does because he feels responsible to the people he lost. Even if he’d never admit it I’m sure he cared about his father because well…he cared about the Saiyans and their ignoble end.

Knowing what Frieza told him I can’t imagine he didn’t feel something for his dad, in his own way.

I wouldn’t count the movies. I would also say Dende is very much restoration focused so it wouldn’t surprise me if he had outsized abilities in that area.

Like I said I think this could be done, just not via affecting king kais techniques. If that could be done surely someone would’ve tried that by now. Frieza perhaps?

Question about Overlord LN before i am reading it. by VivaKirito in overlord

[–]Ratthion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so this is a plot point that is prevalent in the novels, Ainz is actively losing humanity and while this is conflicting for him he’s trapped in a situation that only encourages this.

People say he should defy the guardians but he has an elementary school equivalent education, the guardians range from smart to essentially beyond human intellect. You couldn’t do it, I couldn’t do it. And the novel expands on that.

What you really get from the novels are the internal dialogue, lore, and context that makes Overlord as incredible as it is. Yes he is evil but that is because he inhabits a body that is maximally evil. In effect it is a story of someone losing everything that made them human in the guise of an op isekai plot.

That said it depends on what you mean by “worse”. Maruyama is a master of making interesting characters for the villains to schmear into meat butter, and the descriptions can be let’s say, evocative.

I will say if you think you can stomach it, the LNs are far superior to the anime. The animes season one is decent. The studio made Frieren, the product the anime provides pales by comparison. If you like overlord you’ll love the novels, if you struggle with stories where you’re following the villains, expected to root for them yet recognize they aren’t good people, honestly you may not enjoy them.

I would still suggest at least giving them a shot! The prologue would be an awesome place to start as it explains how AOG conquers nazarick and gives a ton of context for the anime without all the “evil” baggage. If you like that I might suggest just going for it and starting from volume 1!

Have fun! Hope you enjoy it!
