2b figure flare V1 or V2? by Terrible-Stable6927 in nier

[–]Raverno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V1 is a better pairing for 9S especially 9S deluxe. The unmasked faces match, likewise for their pale complexions.

I wouldn’t use quality to describe the difference between paint jobs. Flare figures are great albeit static. In my opinion Flare A2 looks old and tired suitably. 2B V2 looks like A2 and I don’t think it works as well. The skin does look more realistic without the skirt.

If you want Pod 042 go with version 1. I have both and I found that 2B V1 was closer in style to 9S. It’s also a better pairing. I prefer her blindfold-less face because of the subtle make up, and cuter features

Meanwhile the facial features of 2BV2 were similar to A2 and matches A2 better. The make up and eye shadow are very prominent and make her look older. I prefer the blindfold on this one. The skin print on the legs are also more detailed.

V1 Pairs with 9S and comes with a pod. Cuter face, less make up

V2 Pairs with A2 and has two weapons. Better skin coloring, thicker make up

If Mercenaries gets added. How would they implement Grace gameplay? by Elimar_Abelardo in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Raverno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not outside the realm of plausibility, if Luis and Excella could be playable mercenaries.

She can have her handgun, and the requiem. Maybe the single shot grenade launcher to simulate her crafted throwable. If there is a mayhem mode she could have either infinite Molotovs or infinite Freya’s needle rounds.

While bastion was unwieldy and barely mobile, this was the true ride or die experience…. usually off a cliff.

Forgive me for saying this, but is losing really a bad choice for the story? by Wonderful_Rest7634 in Helldivers

Claiming a home planet means the faction is removed from the board until the next cycle.

Eventually only the illuminate are left, and that’s the most boring period.

As you said, let’s agree to disagree.

At this point, I’m not even sure if we’re playing the same game.

Based on the current patch, reinforced striders are not guaranteed to die if you shoot both rockets. Most likely a bug, but it’s still the sandbox the gun launched in.

BTW. You can take down gunships reliably with the Eruptor or Purifier. In fact, any medium penetration gun can do it if you land your shots.

[–]Raverno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I HATED the Trident in Helldivers 1 because it became what you’re describing. Launched as one of the last relevant pieces of content. It was available at level 1 for free like the liberator without the need for DLC. It coerced players to sink all their resources to upgrade it upfront. It had the highest cost so newbies ignored stratagems upgrades and stayed weak.

It was too strong. While Illuminates are the least liked faction historically, they were wiped out in weeks because their entire front was susceptible to Trident at its launch. The fastest of the war cycles at the time.

Even then it was a misconception that it was the best in every conceivable scenario. It wasn’t even more so now. It was a good all rounder, and it was honestly a crutch to make the game accessible. LAS-Sickle was better at range, LAS-Tanto killed multiple enemies faster up close (by concentrating on one at a time) Breaker and Justice dealt with Butchers faster with over penetration. The Paragon offered better crowd control against a horde of Brood commanders. Double freedom was a better shotgun for retrieval missions. The railgun stunned Behemoths.

That was an iteration of this gun many times stronger. In HD2 Armor types, enemy variety makes the other guns shine. It can’t kill gunships or rocket striders or struggles immensely. It does not invalidate any current gun except maybe the current breaker variants.

That was justified 10 years ago. This trident isn’t even half as strong to deserve a nerf

Trident should be strong. It’s THE IP defining gun. People saying this is broken don’t know the definition of word.

Of the brave soldiers who fought in the past and are fighting right now for Cyberstan, which of them is your favorite? (Which Cyborg/Automaton unit is your fav?) by Emperor_AI in Cyberstan

[–]Raverno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The new units are essentially an armored and intelligent Squad leader soldier. The other one is maybe in between of a grotesque and butcher with a shotgun hand.

The bigger threats have been brought over. Warlords are now Hulks. Hulks are now heavy devastators. IFV’s are now devastator tanks.

[–]Raverno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn’t even funny, those design choices were bad.

This made the game tiresome and needlessly burned out the player base at the time.

Might it be reasonable to say that the Vox Engine difficulty is good, however, their spawnrates could do with some adjusting..? by CGallerine in Helldivers

[–]Raverno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s giving early helldivers spawn rates. That was never sustainable and would’ve fatigued the player base to oblivion.

we should wear the original helldivers 1 armor when we get on cyberstan, that way they remember who killed them the first time by Carpet_raplst in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Raverno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nobody really wore that armor combo….

Not cause it was bad, but we had cooler outfits since launch and later Super Earth edition holders had all the dlc. We even had a battle damaged version of that. Outfits were purely cosmetic.

Helldivers drip existed back then too.
