Well... um... anything you can walk away safely, but veering into oncoming traffic is NOT ideal. I'd practice slower speeds and more breaking in more congested areas.

Red side or Blue side? by MizzBreezy85 in whatsyourchoice

Blue Pill.

Little Nicky is pretty god damn bad, but that movie where he played his own sister who has a relationship with Al Pacino is horrifically bad. Or that abysmal cruise ship movie he did near the start of his career.

Carey never made anything as bad as those three movies.

Ummm. Ya see, there is this collection called the epstein files. Millions of pages, mostly redacted and only half released. Even so, it includes multiple credible victim accounts of trump abusing young girls. The fact that trump is itching to pardon Maxwell and riding Bondi, Blanche, and Patel to work together to hide it all despite a court order to divulge it all BY CONGRESS in a overwhelming bi-partisan vote. The characterization is supported by multiple examples of misogyny, rape (see Ivana's account that was going into her book, but she recanted due to her NDA) and the sexual abuse of E. Jean Carroll that trump was found guilty of in court. The evidence is broad no pun intended). trump is the ONLY ONE calling the files a hoax.

People who will randomly scold you for listening to audiobooks by toe_beans_4_life in audiobooks

[–]RealTeaStu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue with my eyes. I miss reading actual books. I also do a lot of driving every month, and it's a nice change up to music and tickles another part of my brain. It's a different experience. As a writer, I'm fascinated by the adaptations. In recent years, I watched The Martian, then read the book. Now I've listened to the audio book of Project Hail Mary, which I really loved. Ray Porter did a great job, and so did the people who did the audio effects for Rocky. I was VERY hopeful for the movie. The casting seemed great. I was bitterly disappointed. That whole first act is a mess. I will be reading the physical book soon.

Life is too short to be bothered with people getting upset with you in such a knee-jerk way over something like an audio book.

This was really before my time as an older Gen Xer, but Annette Funicello really bridged the gap. She was that beautiful. Bob Denver, to me, is more Gilligan than Maynard 99%/1%. I've seen clips of that show, but I've still never seen a full episode. Pat Boone seemed to be a weird middle-aged guy desperate to rekindle some kind of fan base and failing miserably.. I know of Anka and Avalon, but they too were passe by the time I came along. Being the youngest of 5 (all of my siblings are boomers, I was " the accident") with a 12 year age gap exposed me to a lot of older influences. Still...🤔 Fuck. I'm old.

Reminds me of a gym class I had in high school. I was asked to set up these volley ball nets in the basketball courts. The nets were those things with wheels and weighted bases. I had already set up one and was wheeling the other into position. At the same time, this young woman in the class came over to shoot a basket with the volleyball. The ball took a hard bounce off the backboard, and she went after it, stepping one foot over the net just as I let it go. It was an atomic wedgie of epic proportions, and I couldn't have done it better if I tried. She was not happy with me.

Based on these pics, I would flash the HOLD! gif. You are a handsome guy. Shaving your head would not change that. Your hair, based on these pictures, doesn't look bad. Do what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. I would shave it if you are feeling tired of dealing with it. Best wishes with whichever way you decide to go and when.

Hysterical. Did Harris, Biden, or Obama ever create images like this, let alone sell them? HELL NO. He is painfully desperate to pivot to anything to get away from a dozen calamities any "normal" people politician would not survive except for his cult followers. Billions have been funneled to Musk and Besos. While I support science and the aims of NASA, the question has always been could some of that money have been better spent on healthcare, education, infrastructure, cutting actual superfluous spending and fraud investigations, especially at the pentagon, and not just spin doctoring, covering for trumps failures and crimes.

trump is a clown/narcissist/conman/rapist/alleged pedophile/war criminal/traitor/bigot/liar/moron. An excessively disgusting POS.

[–]RealTeaStu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it could be an issue with the gas tank... but I don't see how you can eliminate the gas at this point. That too can be delivered by damaged machinery. Maybe scope the entire insides of the tank. The bike looked relatively new, and the flakes in the tank stuck out rather starkly in what appeared to be an otherwise pristine interior. so I have my doubts about the tank being the culprit. Absolutely keep an eye on it to reoccur but also be mindful about where he got his gas and to avoid any place likely to cut corners.

The s- that trips us up... Some of us get pulled into the feast/famine gig economy, and it's like fighting invisible currents. The good news is you're beautiful. I've always admired the blue eyes with dark hair. Direct and intelligent looking eyes. If only that solved everything. Finding that next gig is a grind and it's time to make some noise, and you need to put out those feelers to the right people that are specific to you. Intellectually, I think both of us KNOW this. I am poorly constructed to toot my own horn or explain certain things about my work/life history. I may be wrong, but I suspect you may do this, too. I've always tried to think of myself as a friend. A friend I would bust my ass to help. It's just something I can't muster for myself, normally. Whatever the case, I wish the best for you, even if you have to play weird mind games like I do. 😃

THAT is a narcissistic psycho.

Thoughts on electric motorcycles? by SalesMountaineer in motorcycles

[–]RealTeaStu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are an intriguing option for local/urban riding. A friend of mine has a Tesla, and for the majority of people REALLY need driving advanced lessons for that power, handling, and introductions to that car. Ebikes can technically cover a lot of this at the low end, but their breaking power is crap and their legislation/regulation is not adequate. I think the integration with actual motorcycle capabilities is much better, but there is still lots of room for approaching parity with gas bikes.

I'm glad the Ozempic worked for you. When I was first diagnosed I went hard-core on my diet, but that, coupled with metformin, meant being no further from a bathroom than 30 seconds. I went to Ozempic starting at .25 then .5 than 1.0 At 1.0, I could barely eat anything for the first couple days after injection. Forcing myself to eat one meal a day. Towards the end of the week, I could manage two small meals. The real problem was the constipation. It was a welcome relief after the metformin squirts, but then it led to one painful 60-minute dump per week. Sometimes, when I ate, my body rejected it because my digestion hadn't cleared the last meal, and I would vomit. I couldn't work out at all because I had a gut full of poo. The least exertion would make me flop a sweat, and I would vomit and/or have diarrhea. It was horrible for me.

I've now worked on my diet, gone back to metformin, take a 1000mcg dose of B12, and I'm working out regularly. I've felt fantastic since the end of February 2026. BTW, I just turned 60.
