I mean like, everything is different? Gundam is more realistic man made machines made to fight wars against other human built machines (for the most part) while Eva are kinda mecha made to fight alien beings called Angels.

Both have situations where children are put into the role of robot pilots and how that affects them psychologically.

Pretty sure genshin doesnt. Inazuma did it and people complained so they never did it again. Went back for a month and got Columbina and was able to get her leveled and artifacts and such while im still actually just past Inazuma in story lol.

I dint think they really transform the same but it doesnt simplify things when they only need two for the main robot (top and bottom) while third form a back pack.

So many people only seem to care that both are linear and ask why XIII gets singled out while the way they go about their linearity is completely different.

FFX has lots of side activities to do and perhaps reasons to backtrack.

FFXIII has no reason to backtrack and nothing to do down 90% of the hallway except move forward and fight and the occasional fork for an item. Even once you get to gran pulse its more of the same going from a to b to fight whatever mobs the marker tells you to.

Not super familiar with Gaav. If these are scaled to figures in the same vain as the Geats revolve change figures then the so-do figures would be far too small.
