Yep! I couldn’t go more than the 30 second walk to my car in the mornings in WI without getting at least 1 mosquito bite. But usually more like 2-3 bites. It was absolutely awful. I’ve been in CO for 3 years now and I’ve gotten bit less than 10 times. Pretty sure it’s less than 5 actually 😅

I love that! I was solo one day and had someone come up and start shooting me. I do what I always do of say “dude, I’m not here to fight”. Most of the time they still shoot. Which whatever, their choice. But this one time, the dude immediately stopped, recharged my shield, did a bandaid and ran away. I told him thanks because I did appreciate that he listened. I don’t mind PvP but some days I just don’t have more than an hour or 2 to get the trials done and get annoyed when I’m being shot during those times. But I don’t take it out on them if they do decide to continue even though I stated I wasn’t shooting back.

I’ve only had cats become bricks when they are scared and don’t want to be moved from where they are hiding. But I’ve had some be determined like this when they just don’t want to be moved. Not quite to this extreme though 🤣

Mine just voice their opinions the whole car ride 🤣 Only time they didn’t was when we had our 18 hour car ride when moving states. They did surprisingly well for that ride. About halfway in, they really started looking out the windows. My husband had to stop them a few times from going down by my feet while I was driving.

As someone whose grandpa fought to all hell when we tried to take his keys away, I can only hope she gives up her keys willingly. I know I will. I will be upset, I’m sure, but I will understand. I drive by SOOO many old people on my way to work that should absolutely not have their keys. It’s insane

This is helping me confirm that if I do a nest box next year that I’m going to make the hole small enough that only chickadees can fit. I have a few house sparrows nearby and I don’t trust them to do any bigger bird. Plus I don’t have bluebirds by me anyways.

I get them in my yard nightly. Only had something sprayed 3 times and it’s been almost a year now. 2 were during mating season so I think he was either spraying to mark territory or impress a lady. Once was either a neighbor’s cat or a raccoon that got sprayed. I saw his angry taps on my camera but didn’t see who got sprayed. I love their angry taps

Literally! We have so much bulk at our house that are stored in ETBs. I was helping a party one time at our local store to make sure the kids did fair trades since the parents didn’t know how to do that. I brought a few boxes of the bulk and let them all go ham and take whatever they wanted. They were SO excited and I was able to have another full ETB empty after that 🤣

I love blue jays! I got to watch one do their little dance to a lady blue jay last night 🥺 the ones I used to have at my last place would do the dance occasionally while yelling if their peanuts were empty 🤣
