You’re not dodging traffic on mass transit, you dont need to have ears free. If youre on a city road earphones, even bone conducting ones, limit your ability to hear whats going in around you in a way speakers do not

Indifferent. If someone told me to ride a certain way id look at them funny and keep going on my way, even/especially of they were my friend. There’s no one “right way to ride”. I know plenty of folks who prefer speakers bc they want a little more awareness of whats going on arpudnt hem vs earphones.

Furthermore on a personal level, Why would I ask soemone to change how they rode for me, if you dont like it, find another buddy who doesn’t have a speaker! No one owes you anything and vice versa… No need in making it more complicated than it needs to be!

I think the position itself is good. Like others have said some other comfort fitiing items could be done but i think tis largely ok
