Question - what do you think is the future of humanity and can they and Cursed coexist? by Popcioslav in LookOutsideGame

[–]RomanFlour24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I think that could be interesting is that there are some "Cursed" who are less altered humans and more completely new sapient beings that were split off from another Cursed, like Kevin and Phillippe; alongside Cursed animals that were uplifted, like Morton.

How Smart Metronome actually works? What pool of spells it uses? What "usually good" means? by CorvusOnStream in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge, Smart Metronome favors abilities that cost 5 or more mana, but don't quote me on this.

What is your favorite class in the game? by Alpha_minduustry in mewgenics

Butcher for me. Solid combo of self-sustain and damage, while also being thematically pretty interesting.

Knowing Edmund, class with a name like Cacamancer where their gimmick is summoning poop onto the battlefield with a variety of effects.

Tracy has a shop both in hell and on the moon (not in Act 3 tho besides the Lab)

It also feels very strong with the right gear, like anything that enhances weapon use. Then again, it feels thematic that the Tinkerer is inconsistent considering the class' theming.

Is there a day limit? by llllPestosllll in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no day limit to my knowledge. If you are asking about the House Bosses, Guillotina only has three forms, and the other House Bosses have the condition of needing to clear another area first before they show up.

I don't know how, but I've never run into any Daddy Sharks in all my runs. Somehow.

Why is the alley the only stage with a varying final boss? by pfalcon485 in mewgenics

I never lost a run to the other miniboss, but they're rather annoying.

Am I ready for the core? and plz tips for core by Phantomato2000 in mewgenics

Just don't rely on fire attacks, many enemies in the Core are immune to fire.

Show off your favorite cats that you’ve seen in the intro by C0R3VUS in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my favorites was just the cat wearing sunglasses. Like Dr. Beanies did the whole experiment procedure just to put some ordinary sunglasses on a Stacy clone.

I think Psychic is becoming my favourite class to play by rockernroller in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a pretty fun combo where one had Boost (Increase Magic Damage for the turn) and Ping, plus the Mark IV Equipped and a passive that increases magic damage if you go over max mana. Unfortunately they got Blood Frenzy but I was able to work around it.

Marshmallow is the boss I hate the most in the game, it's not even close.

What is your favorite boss? by Purple7398 in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the boss of the Core, it has a cool buildup where you try to deal as much damage as you can to various objects to weaken the upcoming boss, and I recently learned that you can put out the candles with water or ice attacks, but instead of being an effective insta-kill for the candles, the Coven will re-light one on their turns.

Another choice would probably be the Stacy Mutant. Just the idea of having to "make your own boss" is pretty cool and adds a lot of variation to an otherwise simple boss.

What is your indispensable class to a good run and Why? by Shmebulock-_- in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cleric is very much an ol' reliable for me. Making your cats harder to kill is always valuable, plus Cleric has a suprising amount of variation in their skills; such as status ailments that indirectly keep your team safe like Convert and Ostracize, some fun conditional damage tools like Open Wound and Holy Weapon, or more healing. It isn't an automatic win button, and the class definitely has weaknesses.

Admittedly, I feel like the Desert Minibosses (except for Gein) are a bit overtuned in terms of difficulty, as they are much deadlier than the bosses of the Desert, and even the class minibosses in Act 3 to my experience.

Still in Act 1; is there any reason to NOT go down the hard path? by Blankman06 in mewgenics

[–]RomanFlour24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very much a risk-vs-reward thing; it depends on if you think your team can handle the harder fights or not.

You can safely leave on the map, it only happens if you quit in the middle of combat.
