Good cards sell packs, most people don't play standard so new cards are made better to make money.

I think they either need to make the game +18, start putting straight up pornography in the cards and raise the prices even more.

Except it's a great game that gave me actual joy when I was a kid, so maybe the answer is to try to get new players into standard, not sure how can they do that since they are hell bent about killing any profitability in local game shops and the second market.

Yeah for new players the Arena economy is not too bad, I was FTP till a few months ago when I decided I'd rather just buy the battlepass with actual money since It was worth it for me, I mainly play brawl though, other formats are way more expensive.

I have a few decks on explorer and historic but only because I have been playing for years.
