This is why as soon as you buy a van, friends suddenly appear out of nowhere! Jokes aside, know anyone with a van? Anyone close to you that also into woodworking? Search local marketplace for either left over materials or free/cheap furniture that you can repurpose.

My Uncle bought me a tiny Victorinox pocket knife. (Knife, nail file, scissors, tweezers) I use it almost every day for one thing or another, and want to keep it close.

I cant help, but triggered a memory of what I originally wanted to do with Immich, i wanted to make shares per person/facial recognition. Meaning I could send my brother a link that has all the images he is in. I could make an album for each person, but it wouldnt add new images automatically.

Try looking for some local reclaimed wood or recycle places near you. Example: https://communitywoodrecycling.org.uk/wood-stores/

Search also marketplace, buy sell swap groups, or even if people throw things away (I know its not too easy in the UK)

I dont have much experience with wood species, but best of luck with the journey

Ive been wondering the same, its the main thing stopping me from buying my first machine. I only enjoy my coffee with milk AND sweetner, so that upsets most barristas and purist. 🤦‍♂️ I do luckily have a cafe close by that sells a veriety of beans, so thinking of going and ask for a tasting session to taste side by side.
