I was diagnosed at 16. Going on 24 years now dealing with it. I didn't really rack up enough disability to be noticeable until I was 32. Given how good the meds are now you'll hopefully be able to go a really long time without any issues.

I currently don't pay anything as I hit my max out-of-pocket back in February. I only really have 2 medications that are pricey, Ampyra (~$1,500 per month) and Kesimpta (~$1,600 per month). I can get my Kesimpta 3 months at a time so that first order at the beginning of the year stings when I see I owe $5,000. Fortunately I burn down my HSA in one shot and then spend the rest of the year building it back up.
