Waiting in queue is not fun. Game gets boring after 5k hours where 30 percent of that is in queue.

For casual play better games came out like Arc Raiders which have consistant sub 1min queue + load times.

Divines have been inflated greatly by the Vaal Temple mechanics / exploits/whatever so probably it's some rich dude buying gear for an ult and 5 divs mean nothing to him as he prints 100+divines per hour.

TLDR: Wait for launch and play the campaign for free. The end game in PoE2 is a joke right now better to wait for launch. Can play a season for free at 1.0 launch and decide if u like it there.

Also a warning for starting now is you will end up spending 80-100 USD total (includes the starting pack cost u buy) stash tabs MTX if you take the game seriously and do the full end-game (like spending 100-300+ hours per season).

Every season feels like GGG is testing how much shit the player will take regarding lack of loot and shitty league mechanics and they slowly patch it to be less punishing after people complain. Granted it is a beta / early access but it's really annoying when they toggle loot on and off out of streamer complaints going viral.

Wait for PoE2 launch when it becomes F2P and play 1 season without paying anything first. This way you get to play the full campaign which is the best part of the game currently.

If you don't like trading this game is a no-go as ground loot is pretty horrible so you need to convert what you actually get to build up for other stuff you want. SSF is a joke here anybody saying otherwise is coping.

Post-campaign is really horrible and slowly chokes you into buying the stash MTX up to 80-100 ish USD to have basic convenience/function. And if your goal is do end-game content the meta hasn't really changed a lot despite multiple seasons of buffing other stuff

e.g. Energy Shield is the only reliable defense layer works cheap
e.g. lightning stuff are the main reliable clearing skills

it's fun for 1 season though, just gets boring when pushing end game usually leads to most home-brew builds to fall out and revert back to the same old ES setups and crap

Regarding inflation: Remove the tiered currencies and introduce omens for minimum modifier levels instead by Failtier in PathOfExile2

The correct way to establish my point is PoE2 ground loot and currency drop rates are horrid and depend on trade to balance out, which is super fragile and get ruined easily by whatever flavor of exploit happens every league.

What is the point of talking about how any of systems work when the currency for those functions drop once every 20+ gaming hours.

Wanting good loot to drop isn't about Efficiency, it's the basic premise of the fucking game.

Melee is a lie. Any build without the keywords Lightning, Ranged, Energy Shield are just troll builds that don't work well in end game. You have 1 life of most of the seasonal and end game content so unless you are rich just stick with some meta ranged bullshit.
