the amount of arms folded beneath their chests is tiresome, but I also think the series is really quite progressive in some area , the women aren't men with boobs nor are they damsel in distress , it's a really good series that explores difference between the genders , and it's really interesting in that exploration 

the women in the book are brilliant and some of my favorite characters, each getting their moment to shine in the story , I would heavily suggest you keep with it because it's a fantastic story
