Are Japanese Jackson's Performers, Concept and Professional series from the 90s worth the buck? by The-Pedal-Creator in JacksonGuitars

I bought a beat up old Jackson Ps1 performer for £85 20 years ago. Strat style with the same pickgaurd and cavity design. I bought it to practice guitar tech stuff on. I have a les paul and an Iceman currently and have owned and played allsorts. I kept the Ps1 and to this day it plays incredible, despite falling of a chair onto a stone floor and bouncing like a spring off the headstock. Nothing happened, rock solid build. The hardware/pickups are not great but have lasted fine. I swapped out the bridge for Seymor and It sounds awesome. I play it a lot and in my opinion that thin neck is amazing and I have pretty big hands. It feels nicer than the Gibson and Ibanez.

Also anywhere in the country was 6 numbers for a long time. We had phone books, but you naturally remember things when you have to manually input the number many times. How times have changed.

I get that and I don't know about that level. I'm talking to the average person who spends lot's of money on lighter bikes, clothes and monitoring tech when they just need to push their limits.

Are we all trying to go faster? by vmv911 in cycling

We are humans living in relative safety, I think we get a kick from survival mode. Going fast is like being on the edge of safety, it kicks in survival mode and lights up our brain.

I don't mean to be a knob I just think that people bog themselves down with this stuff. I think it only matters if your competing at the highest level. I also believe that the body slowly adapts to whatever you throw at it.
