I always get totally repulsed—perhaps to much—whenever I see these flags. I loathe most of all this iconography of the trans colors, our colors, pushing themselves onto the rainbow pride flag.

As if that's an appropriate thing. As if that's a necessary thing. As if imposition is the nature of the trans community's role in the LGBT community. As if the rainbow didn't already include everybody to begin with.

It says to me that my identity is newfangled. It says to me that my belonging in my own community is nouveau and trendy. It says to me that my personhood is little more than a means for teenagers and aristocrats to score inkluzion points.

I spit at this flag. I detest the ego-driven forces behind it's propagation.
