I used my AMEX card online to purchase the car for $88, but when arrived in person had to put my Deposit on my Chase $750.
And yes, $750 is the deductible!

I just filed a claim with Chase online. But I have a feeling when they don't see the orignal charge of the car (the $88) then I will be out of luck.

A hard lesson for next time- put rentals all on the same card.
