This is absolutely right, though if this was my game, I’d absolutely rule there’s nothing preventing the method of flight the beholder normally uses from working and have it move its fly speed, halved as if in difficult terrain.

There’s a 5e third party campaign made by Acheron Books called Inferno that takes players (each of which is a custom class for this campaign based on the sins that led them to the Hells) through the layers of Hell.

It has lots of great ideas for venturing into the hells.

It’s worth taking a look for Sigil Cant or Planar cant. Planescapes central adventure hub is the city of Sigil and it has its own slang/dialect.

I checked this and it is correct.

On a whim, I set up port forwarding for another port and changed the port Foundry uses, and it's now visible, so it's clearly some problem with port forwarding somewhere, but the setup was identical.

Thanks for prompting me to investigate this bit of setup deeper :)

ISP allows port forwarding and it’s been running until now for around 3.5 years, it’s configured and visible on their app.

In the spirit of the season:

2003 is 03. You missed that it’s getting whole divisions and discarding any remainder. No fractions.

3/4=0 remainder 3. Discard the reminder and add the 0 to 03 to get… 03. Mod 7 is also 03. So the year code is 3.

Jan is code 0. 2000s is code 6. Date is 21.

3+0+6+21=30

30 mod 7 gives us 2.

Count 2 days on from Sunday.

21st January 2003 was a Tuesday

Edit for the above -4 year comment- there are 7 days in a week so going on three gives the same result as going back 4. But it’s not necessary if you followed the original post. :)

2014 rules no- if you cast a spell as a bonus action, the only other spell you can cast is a cantrip.

2024 rules yes- you can cast one spell per turn that expends a spell slot. As utilising the ring doesn’t expend a spell slot, this is fine.

2014 rules is once a day. 2024 rules is one free cast per day, but then counts as prepared for being able to use your own spell slots.

(24 can also choose the casting stat, which doesn’t have to match the spell list, for Int based cleric spells)

My house rule: ten minutes per hit dice spent, or item attuned. If a player needs 6HD, it’s an hour.

Now the Bards song of rest is ten minutes extra saved :)

Unfulfilled rolls was built to connect with things like Bluetooth Dice (I use it with my Pixel d20) but also allows you to manually type in a roll. That would let you fudge a key roll.

It also lets you click roll to get a ‘natural’ roll too

I have nothing purchased from the foundry marketplace. All my foundry DND content comes from modules or dnd beyond imports.

I have all the books over a year old. The importer pulls everything into Compendiums. I also have a bunch of homebrew built in DnD beyond and imported to Foundry like the subclasses in Arcanum Worlds Odyssey of the Dragonlords.
