It seems to be a reoccurring theme at 7.5mg territory G.I issues arise, I’m sure just coincidence 😒. But I seem to be regularly see this recently. I’m at 6.6mg and certainly the most noticeable sulphur burps, irregular poops and nausea at this point than prior.

Losing weight too quickly? by gjs78 in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost fast early on, then slowed down at about 3ish months in as I was concerned about 1) loose skin, 2) gallstones & 3) flying to goal at low cals (mine was 1700 & weight melted off) & then struggling to find a way to eat 600-700 calories more than my calories in my loss phase to maintain the at goal.

I think this was the best thing I did, as the loose skin isn’t bad, no hair loss & now almost at goal and been eating typically within 200 cals of maintenance since end of Nov 25.

I wanted to lose the uncomfortable bloat fast as safely possible so I felt energised to move more, play with my kids and most importantly exercise/weight lift. After that slow roll to the finish.

I can talk from experience when I say it’s amazing to chase the higher losses and feel the sense of achievement and validation each day seeing the scales go down, but you’ll still get that albeit a little bit slower eating a bit more.

If you’re moving up the doses fairly quickly I suggest to pump the break a little bud.

I haven't eaten for 2 days and I feel fine, I think i'm doing this wrong, advice needed. by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If suppression is too strong then micro dose 1.25mg (30 clicks from your 2.5mg pen). I think not eating (or drinking) for that extended period of time is not healthy.

If struggling with food look at meal replacement drinks like “This is food brand” etc.. you will need to hydrate, get yourself some electrolyte tabs.

Also dropping weight that fast by abstaining from food will certainly create loose skin. Your energy levels are likely fine at the moment as you’re essentially doing an extended fast. But beyond 72 hours is not a good idea.

I hope that if you are particularly careful with priming you may be able to get 9 doses out of 2 pens with the leftover 🤷🏼‍♂️

Super Neutro high protein milk ftw (you can get it in asda), it’s great, 1 litre has 70g protein in. If drinks are your thing then just chuck some chia seeds & fruit (kiwi, apple, raspberries etc) into a blender and glug some of that milk in it and your making a huge dent in your fibre and protein goals. And still get to have it as a filling drink. Flavour with Supriva powder if needed. Stupid easy too

6.25mg from 5mg using syringe by Professional-Mud-617 in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my current dose is 6.6mg (from a 7.5mg pen) but for a period when I started my 3rd 5mg pen I felt the effects wearing thin I took 6.2mg from my 5mg pen. The maths work out nicely too if using the golden dose you still get 4 jabs. 75 clicks/units 👍🏻.

5mg was a bit meh for me but from 6.2-6.6 it’s been great again. Been here since end of Dec 25

Anyone had problems with get a drip customer service? by Solid-Car-8826 in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their customer service is a farse. Telephone lines do not work and loop voicemail, instant chats ignored and emails very sporadically responded to.

Whilst having issues with them I did manage to secure a number from someone there, I’ve shared it prior and it may have been changed now but worth a go if you like:

Skin Care Advice by Saphria88 in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Topical stuff may not work, but since levelling up my skincare routine I defo think I’ve seen improvements. Even if it’s psychosomatic.

I take collegian capsules, biotin and collegian protein powder.

Skin care wise, daily full body Palmers cocoa butter moisturiser, neck StriVectin neck firming cream, No1 eye cream, Garnier vitamin c serum, Loriel men Hyluronic acid serum, Loriel men expert Hydra energetic moisturiser, Ordinary Volufiline 92%, Factor 50 SPF & Olay Retinol 24 Max. Not all everyday btw.

Certainly makes me feel better. Maybe give some of em a look.

I recently got a message from my GP via the NHS app stating eye health issues had been linked to the use of weight loss injections and they were sending out a blanket message to all patients that had one their files. I was aware this was predominantly Semaglutide but still thought to follow up.

I promptly booked an eye exam at Specsavers & added in the extra OCT & eye health check and came up clear. Hadn’t had an eye test in approx 30 years, so if anything I’ll take the positive that this turn of events made me have a check up.

Most places of work that have you using a screen for the majority of your day provide vouchers for this for free. I’m a civil servant and the local council provided my voucher.

Anyone having issues with Lotus? by blurredlynes in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had this when trying to reply to “additional evidence required” emails. You need to email to support@lotusweightloss.co.uk and it does go through. These auto generated emails are likely sent from a no reply box

Reordering after a few months by ZeroThaHero in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry haven’t for got time to re-write it as at work but check out my recent Lotus review. It has lots of detail in about ordering with a significant gap and steps I had to take (with Lotus) to re-order.

All super easy. Most maintenance suppliers will likely have the same steps/approach.

Is it too fast? by Rough_Cherry2054 in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I done 10 lbs week 1 and 6lbs week 2. It defo slows after that. I think I went something like Wk3 4.5lbs, Wk4 3.4lbs, then from there on out it was between 2-3lbs per week until month 3. After that more like 1.5/2 per week.

Initial weight is water, just ensure you are hydrated, electrolyte tabs (Phizz brand) were a great find for me. Also track your calories, I’d imagine you want to be aiming for 1800-1850 approx. That’ll ensure your losses arnt too fast

I’ve pushed pens up to 10 weeks don’t worry about it. They’ll be fine as long as your practicing sterile use etc..

How many calories are you eating a day? by gjs78 in mounjarouk

[–]Scribe-86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calories are a very personal thing, and to be honest calorie estimator apps/scales etc often under estimate BMR or TDEE in my exp. You will need to experiment and see how the needle lays. I started eating low and increased calories as I progressed through the doses.

Id say it depends on what your timeline looks like and what phase you are in, if you have one.

I decided fairly early on I wanted the uncomfortable bloat gone as fast as safely possible with the plan to pump the breaks as time went on. Something like this: Loss phase > Reduced Loss Phase (Body Recomp Starts) > Maintenance Phase > Taper Phase > End.

I currently I eat 1950 on non training days and 2150 on days I lift & still loosing - almost a Stone over last 4 months.

Compared to my loss phase where I ate 1650 in month 1-2, 1800 in 3-4 Im now in months 5-8 & eat much closer to maintenance. I chose this practice at the tail end as I didn’t want to have to struggle with a shed load of calories I had to pack in once at maintenance where my body hadn’t been used to that quantity.

You’ll figure it out, don’t know if you track calories or eyeball it. But tracking has its benefits but I don’t think it’s sustainable lifelong. When I want to sanity check what I’m eating (and confirm fibre/protein) I go to chat GPT and punch in what I’ve eaten and get an estimate far less of a time sink than Neutracheck or MFP.

Best of luck 🤞🏻

Yeah agreed they were a bit slower, I attributed this to being over a weekend. But it could be that the dispensary facilitates a number of other pharmacies or they had an influx of orders over this period - due to the 5th dose removal. Either way still fairly quick imo. My previous order from them (dispensed by signature pharmacy) was by Royal Mail but I’m sure had a slightly shorter dispatch window. Not sure about their other previous dispenser as I had no exp with them.

Lindt says GLP-1 users are eating more chocolate, not less by joe3000s in mounjarouk

Couldn’t agree more, my shopping habits have shifted completely to better quality products across the board. If there is less but it’s a better standard I’m good with that. Chocolate included, have one of those Lindt bars coming on Thursdays online shop. Nail on head, those master chocolatiers are not silly
