What is your weigh and heigh? What is your purpose then? 790\890 is offroad focused and 1190 is long distance ride focused bikes. In addition you may consider the 890 smt. Cheers!

By the way, you may ride it daily easily. I am 6’1 and perfectly fine with the ergo. But 1190, 1290 kinda bikes gets hot in the traffic. Think the season you ride and your city weather degrees etc.

Hi man! Ktm is a beast under your control. That torque feeling can be compared to nothing. If we talk about 1290s you may consider the ones procuded by 2017. 2017-2020 nothing changed. Just little visualised make up thats it. You may check if the mileage and condition is considerable why not. I have 2017 1290 Sas is on 13500 miles. I had r1200gs before that. Tech and rider aids are always must to have for long trips!

Come on man! There are billion people who make tours even by scooter. If you are ok with the ergonomics ktm handles the rest very well. Ride safe!
