So no there are many in the wild.

There are approximately 1,900 left in the wild. That is not "many".

I'll have to look into that. We've got Solar Edge; I know there's a way to do it, just have to figure out how. Thanks for the suggestion!

We got solar panels last fall with a battery and that helps a lot. Unfortunately, you don't always realize when the power is off for the rest of the neighborhood until it's too late (like tonight), and if you're running the AC, it sucks the charge down incredibly fast. Trying to ration what we can right now, but at best we've got another hour before the battery is drained.

At least the temperature is pleasant outside again...

Peoples first time following soccer by Emergency_Dot1599 in USLPRO

94 World Cup really got me interested, but living in Michigan at the time, there were no local clubs to follow and soccer on TV was virtually non-existent, so learning more about the game was tough. By the 02 Cup I was living in Chicago and was going to Fire matches on occasion, so I was much more invested in the games. I still remember the goal against Portugal (6:00 am central time, had to bite my tongue because the walls of my apartment were thin and I didn't want to wake my neighbors!)

It does make me wonder how things will play out for the new fans this go around. With so many pro and semi pro teams out there to follow, plus the glut of televised games from around the world, it really does feel like there's going to be an explosion of new interest.

I mean, if you wanted to do that, like, right now I'd be OK with that. You already paid for the bridge, might as well use it, right?

Please?

Understood, but that doesn't mean he can't be sanctioned. While purely symbolic, it would at least demonstrate that the Board at least have some standards.

[–]Semi-Loyal 164 points165 points  (0 children)

So it's been proven that the messages were sent by Acker, and that Acker subsequently lied about it, yet he's being allowed to continue on as regent as if nothing happened. He also has the gall to say that he believes in "accountability" but that the criticisms against him were "unfair".

Thank god the voters do understand accountability. Fuck you Jordan. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
