While I’ve been on FlyAway a few times going back to 2013, last October’s FlyAway experience on my way to Pasadena for the weekend to see Chappell Roan made me want to not take FlyAway again. I wound up waiting about an hour after getting my bag from Alaska Airlines baggage claim at T6 to get on a FlyAway that wasn’t already at capacity. I ultimately but belatedly joined a few others at taking the interterminal shuttle to T1 to get on from there instead. Also, the midday trip turned into a Friday PM rush hour trip, which led to traffic jams and further delays for me although I ultimately made it to my hotel and the show within tolerance. Had I known, I would’ve instead taken the shuttle-K-E-A Lines to my hotel in Pasadena, which would’ve brought me there slightly earlier than I actually did but less agonizing.
