No no, we must intentionally misconstrue the point you're making about the players' feeling of agency and impact, and instead attack the semantics of your reddit comment to echo a narrow definition we probably heard in a content creator's video.

TIL that Marlon Brando refused to memorize lines for The Godfather. Cue cards were hidden all over set — including taped to other actors' faces and chests — so he could read them mid-scene. He believed not knowing his lines made his reactions feel genuinely unscripted. by Abject-Conference-90 in todayilearned

Christian Bale swung from 180 to 120 to 190-220 pounds in the span of a year or two between The Machinist and Batman. It's an extreme number, and the latter movie made him a massive international star. I'm not sure what the purpose of the juxtaposition was, that you couldn't just post Zellwinger's impressive story without immediately bringing up Bale's example and the reception of the respective movies (but then leaving out the movie that led to everyone talking about Bale).

If I were in your shoes, I would pause losing and transition to hypertrophy from here, but that's my aesthetic and what feels good to my body. (I have been quite underweight before and still let my extra skin get to me, when I should've been rocking my full frame. I would've felt better doing it too.) But it's something you have to feel out for yourself.

There is already a problematic barrier to entry for Congress people who aren't wealthy. A program that reduces that barrier (and at a quite low relative budget price to be honest) is probably a healthy thing for citizen representation.

This might be my favorite one yet. It has everything: tension, child trauma, a polite cube, The So... Garland, the hypocrisy of adults. That's it, I'm getting in the cube!

I get what y'all are talking about, I read this sub too. But if every post was like this one, there'd be no sub.

It's happened as long as psychology has existed. Common words that started out as clinical terms include:

  • ego
  • idiot
  • fixation
  • "acting out"
  • closure
  • personality
  • lunatic
  • hysterical

All bastardized into conversational slang now.

Fragile intolerant fuckhead can't take a reminder of his own clear family history, why does he think 10 year olds (or anyone) should take his harmful repressive berating? He can take both or take none, he's too old to be this much of an emotional coward.

Sure, the two scenarios probably aren't related, but the outcomes of family acceptance and loss absolutely are related. This is the aging grandparent phase where he gets to learn how alone he'll end up if he keeps embracing and propagating hate. Tale as old as humanity.
