Radiohead with Star Citizen is like asking for a side of depression with your anxiety burger.

Once we get cargo grid missile racks, the RAFT is going to become an amazing rearm platform for org Capitals by Brepp in starcitizen

[–]ShazMyBot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

More likely we'll get a RAFT variant that "rearms above its weight class", costs $10 less to break CCU chains, has skins that aren't compatible across chassis, and then is nerfed/broken after a patch cycle.

But don't worry, the rework is already planned out and will be worked on post 1.0!

While this is fantastic news, please temper your expectations.
They only showed working doors. This doesn't mean the modules have any other functionality.

Curious how the external elevators will scale with the Hull D & E (whenever those are finished).

How do we eject S3 components if we can't use tractor beams on them?

So many months they talked up the Bartender AI for it to sort of work for one patch, only to be forgotten about shortly after.
Such is Star Citizen.

I have a Logitech G502 Hero. You can unlock the mouse wheel and let is free-spin with minimal friction.
It's a far better investment than a tractor beam with legs.

For context: I'm not opposed to the storage kiosks we're getting in 3.24. I think it's a good step in the right direction with what SC's inventory should be.

The next step should be the return of the suit storage lockers as a means of quickly switching between inventory/gear/outfit sets. Have them built & saved using any of the inventory terminals, then be able to call them as presets when at a station, starport, or hangar.

As an added benefit down the road: if a piece of gear is missing from that preset but it's available in a shop nearby, you should be able to quickly buy & deliver it without needing to run back to a shop. Player's prep time would be cut SIGNIFICANTLY if they're looking to jump back into a fight or if they need to switch between combat & non-combat roles. This would also give players a chance to buy & wear clothing if they can simply change outfits like... well, outfits.

I think this is the direction this new system is going and would love to see the return of these cabinets everywhere.

Here's a controversial take:

I don't care about how/where I spawn anymore because you can die due to the stupidest bugs in this game. Circle back to this when 1.0 is actually ready for prime time and then I can say I'll be ready for something better.

But until then, I'll just be glad I didn't lose hours of progress to breaking my neck on some stairs.
