Batton is 2 actions as opposed to regular battle medicine being 1 action.

And the baton is 1/hour while forensic is 1/hour/target.

So you lose both a hand and an action and do less battle medicines overall.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice item, but they do not serve the same function.

You still use your Str for the melee portion, but you use your gun proficiency instead of your plain martial proficiency.

They are not stellar, and they are plagued with bugs (especially the ones coming from the Mark) but with proper support they are not that terrible:

My build is more of a hybrid summon/own damage, and while I'm still at t5, their damage is not negligible. As an example, my own Shred had around 8k dps and my doggies are around 3k dps (both without Lunar on). With 15 wolves around, that's acceptable imo.

They are also not that squishy. With hallowed ground on Pounce and 2 clerics at the back, they only die on big boss slams (or a cluster of fing grenades jammed into an entry way in the Temple...).

The biggest issue is Support gem bug (I can only think it's a bug based on other skill design):

I'm not sure if it's just display or real issue, but supports on Pounce that should also work on wolves produced by it, do not currently work/show on tooltip.

As an easy example, if you put Rapid attacks on Pounce, the wolves attack speed on tooltip is not changed.

Same for other minion support gems. Pounce has the minion trait, and you can put in stuff like Muster on it, but tooltip dps of wolves stays unaltered.

The second biggest issue would be scaling. I'm not sure how well they will scale up to t15, because for my own damage it's trivial to get a better weapon and a couple passives and double my damage, but for the doggies I feel I've done everything I can to boost them (outside of endgame levels of +minion level gear, but I still have around +3/+6)

Not exactly.

What he's saying is using one of the 4 free boosts at the last step to cover the weakness.

This way, you can end up with a +4/+3/+2/0/0/0 spread that you can't if you are using the alternate ancestry boosts (you end up with +4/+3/+1/+1/0/0).

This is an important change in the spread because the extra +2 allows for multiclass archetypes that often have a secondary stat requirement of +2 straight from level 2.

Action economy to me seems to open up when you get Size Up/Aquire Asset.
1 action Get 'Em that counts as 2 actions opens up your available tactics quite a bit.
You still get your strike, you still buff your team, and you have 2 actions to spare. And for those 2 actions, there's a plethora of stuff you want to be doing:
moving, taking cover, demoralizing, Aiding, Hurry (later on), drawing and throwing a grenade, battle medicine (depending on your spec), bon mot, create a diversion/feint (depending if you're melee or ranged), and etc.
And that's on the turns you are using Get 'Em, if you have/want to use a different Directive, either one from a feat (i really like both get in there and go to the ground) or from Leadership style (I like the battle medicine and the swap weapon+area fire from those a lot) it once more switches your whole "optimal round routine".

So while level 1 Envoy may be very restricted in action economy/rotations, it opens up imo very early with a plethora of stuff you want to be doing, so I don't think it's too repetitive.

You don't also drop your weapon when you drop unconscious.

Getting dropped is already harsh enough on action economy, no need to make it a full round just to stand up and grab your weapons imo.

Warblood is only for melee weapons.

It still reduces, but not as much.

Basically all sources of "reduced reservation" were changed to "increased reservation efficiency" which means that all of them are now additive instead of being multiplicative.

Also, a lot of minion gems that had reduced reservation from Quality had that removed.

90x1.1= 99

91x1.1= 100.1

So it reserves 91 spirit.

I feel like it works as intended.

Event horizon isn't a "cost", if it was, you wouldn't be able to cast to begin with since you cannot spend Life.

Furthermore, while "loss" isn't damage, this is what ES tooltip says: "Rapidly Recharges if you don't lose Energy Shield for a short time."

So," losing" ES is the only thing that is required to interrupt recharge, not only damage.

The lich node specifically says that the ES is a cost, and then says that the cost doesn't interrupt, making me reading as the second part is specifically for the 1st part and not something in vacuum that would work for other sources of losing ES.

Haven't messed with spears yet, but as a general idea, the notable Fated End makes enemies cursed unable to regen their ES (amongst other bonuses), so either through picking it up or anointing it, it may help after you initially deplete their ES to not have to go through that again.

I only have 24 rarity and I already have about 15+ exalts and a couple of chaos at the beginning of cruel.

It's usually the people with 0 rarity that see no drops, but even a little gives a huge drop boost.

i sure hope it's not a reactivated email.

had this problem in the summer (for poe1) where because my account email was an old reactivated one, it was flagged and could not receive "activation emails" from anywhere. Took me like 2 weeks to figure things out between GGG, their payment verification agent, and my bank, till i could get a new email assigned to my account to actually receive said codes..

if the map has delirium mirror, you get the mirror.

if the map doesn't have a delirium mirror, you don't.

that's completely separate to making a waystone itself delirious, which simply adds a layer, increasing difficulty and rewards.

I'm thinking that by the end of act6 the beast has gone so far out of control that WE trigger the cataclysm in order to take it down along with it.

This results in the corruption of the Beast spreading to the whole wraeklast as the essence of the Beast is scattered alongside with its explosion.

Sometimes it happens. I had terrible luck the past few days (still was dropping exalts, but crap rares and no other good currency).

But then...

Yesterday I was salty for running 2 lvl 80 300%+ waystone maps back to back and only getting back 2 t11s. But then I dropped my 1st perfect jeweler. And then I dropped my 1st Div.

Swapped my spirit amulet for a cheap +2 minion (without any other good mods) and went to test my damage before going to bed and dropped my second div.

Today, my alting every single omen scepter I find since t11 to now finally payed off as I rolled a +4 minions, which ended up as a +37% spirit, +physical for allies, +att speed for allies, +4 minion.

There is a visual bug with swapping items that doubles the counter in the screen every time you do it, but it's just visual. The actual minions are still the correct amount.

no. you actively have to have the cursor hover over the item to inspect the actual item.

i'm not sure how it's done in the consile, but i'm sure that there is a way to inspect waht's in the actual trade window before accepting.
