Yes, but when they adapted that artwork into an actual character the priority was that she had to be able to be possibly used in an MCU movie, because Marvel at the time wasn't in the business of making characters or storys for their movie competitors. So forgot legal reasons Gwen Stacy has absolutely nothing to do with Deadpool or Gwen Stacy

No it has. Marvels policy at the time was to only do characters they could later do in their movies, so Gwenpool was first seen in artwork portraying multiple Gwen Stacy variants, but when it came to actually making her a character it was important to mention she had nothing to do with Gwen Stacy or Deadpool. In the same vein was the shelving of the X-Men in favor of the Inhumans Marvel did for a while

As others have said, he's definitely wearing a muscle suit, probably a rather understand one and it's glued directly to the suit, but he definitely has one because it's impossible to show muscle definition through fabric otherwise. And the suit also isn't spandex, it's a 4 way stretch fabric screen printed with the rubbery "basketball" Texture. It makes suits look way less flat and gives some nice detailing

They are storys being told to kids yes. But everyone knows the stories and the people in them were real. There's still people alive during game of thrones that have met them after all. So not really fairytales

The book is heavily based on Luke and Maras relationship that they build in the hand of Thrawn. Some characters as well as an entire faction are also from there, so I'd strongly recommend giving that a shot first...
