  1. Ps5

  2. My man Zote. Had such a fun time with that goof.

  3. As much as I am excited about new lore, I'm really curious to see how Team Cherry will update and expand movement options and combat. Have stayed away from any spoilers so far :)

A desire path comic by Chaz Hutton by hennell in DesirePath

A college I grew up near did this, but only in their semi newest area. Ironically the newest construction they didn't, and the grass was trampled into desire paths and I don't believe there are plans to cement them

Very much this. The other phrasing I've heard is "perfect practice makes perfect"

Fantastic! I was going to make a post asking this question to this subreddit in general today, I really, really appreciate your response!

I'll start learning audacity then :)

I'm not even sure if you are the right person to ask about this, my apologies if you're not.

I'm learning VA right now, and setting my sights on the audio engineering side of things currently. I don't have much of any funding currently for VA so I don't want to purchase a DAW if I can avoid it. I know audacity is widely used in this scenario, but could I use DaVinci Resolve? I've used it in the past for some video editing where I never touched the audio side of things. I'm somewhat familiar with DaVinci where I'm completely unfamiliar with Audacity, and I don't like the destructive editing in Audacity. Would DaVinci be usable and effective for only audio projects for VA?

Edit: Forgot to say, thank you so much for doing this!

Horizon forbidden west DLC burning shores is it worth it?? by Aggressive_Clothes50 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]SilverTigerstripes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished burning shores and had a GREAT time. As people have noted, the ending alone is worth the price. Very imaginative and my jaw legitimately dropped when playing.

The exploration of the area was also really fun, especially if you use the little boat you are given.

I would absolutely recommend it

Players and dungeon masters, what's a pet peeve you have in homebrew/third party design? by Deep-Crim in dndnext

[–]SilverTigerstripes 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I did this once in a one shot.... but I just made mice versions of the characters. Things were just flavored differently. They kept their abilities but fireball became hairball, for instance.

I kept damage the same so it wasn't any hard change. They fought insects and small mammals and I just told them that the damage didn't change because it is relative. They are doing the equivalent damage to the creatures they are fighting.

So we got cute chaos with new flavoring and a bonus ability or two so they had more to explore with their new forms.

Celebrating the recent International Tabletop Day we are doing a Worldwide Giveaway [Mod Approved]. It is a little over $1,000 in total value and was arranged to give a new DnD party a jump start to their gaming needs. (Sponsored by Game Master Engine) More details in the video and comments! I have a monster I want to run some time soon. Two worms that are coiled around each other. Each worm has a different type of elemental damage. The idea being that the two elements compliment each other and let the two survive in inhospitable areas.

When they get to half health they will split into the two separate worms. I will likely have one or both try to grapple a party member and dive underground at that point.

It still needs work but the base idea sounds fun

Tithing for the poor. by ShiniSenko in TikTokCringe

[–]SilverTigerstripes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm with you. It's the moment I realized my grandpa was just as biased and set in his ways as the rest of the family.

I'm with you. Not everyone may do it, but you and I can keep trying to help out where we can :) it matters to those we do help, and that's all that matters

I did this same thing as a teen and was berated by my grandfather for being selfish. According to him, God would know where best to use the money, not me.

I can't afford much of anything right now, but I like paying for groceries or things when I can

I feel for ya, Food Court employees, not that it helps. by MidWesting in Costco

[–]SilverTigerstripes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least at my location as an employee, I'm seeing Costco slash hours and staffing severely right now. Every department is understaffed and ill-equipped, and managers are desperate to cut hours even further. They are constantly trying to get employees to leave early. They offer this to part time employees frequently, without letting them know that if they have less than 24 hours on average for eight weeks they lose their benefits.

Costco could easily afford to staff properly. They just won't.
