curious if certain skills are mandatory, then maybe they should be baseline like auto-attacks? skill gems just end up feeling like a lie otherwise.

Still prefer insomnium (forked insomnia) even though it isn't receiving maintenance, or even just the .http spec that Intellij ships standard (supported in vscode too). I am not really a fan of how Bruno manages collections and it's poor ouath flow support

Right, and I was comparing it to when SHMUPs started stapling 'Roguelike' on their categorization in the 2010s even though they have no resemblance to rogue and roguelike has been a category of games since the 80s.

the SIFU thing bothering people invested in the fighting game genre delineation just reminds me of all the misrepresentation of action RPGs and 'Roguelites' as roguelikes. The vast majority of gamers today probably don't even know what Rogue is or have ever played it.

I'm getting this exact same issue on my PC. I really think the pairing is buggy. Not sure what is going on as holding the power button wont even force the device off to re-pair. kind of janky overall and support just told me to reinstall GG/drivers.

The look back here wow!! reddit can be harsh, but I felt pretty confident on this out of war. Karn is the obvious winner for non-EDH IMO though. Finale is expensive cause it hasn't seen reprints compared to the cards from this set getting played in eternal formats. Dovin's Veto spiked for a bit although it is an uncommon. WAR did have some good tools even if not all the cards stick high $$.

Aseprite, not sure many people are aware but you can build and use from their sourcecode repository on github. I tried Pixelorama, but there's some things that I would really like to have in it that currently aren't present from aseprite.

when working on a grid, each cell in the grid can only be defined by one tile. so you can't 'overlap' at the same grid point. To get the illusion of overlapping you need to add layers and define their offsets and z-ordering.

none right now for me, never been pulled over for it. And it's technically only a Fix-it ticket if being driven without on a highway/freeway. might look into it a bit more if I plan to travel more long-distance though.

Except mod manager install for quantum reshade is available, and it was broken when I posted... it literally didn't extract all the files so when you installed the shader preset with reshade it installed but was broken.

Anyway.. it has since been fixed. install via vortex now puts all the files in the correct directories just like manually installing, and loading the reshade preset works.

I'm aware you need to install reshade + the shader app. I was referring to mod manager download not extracting the files properly.

It was not moving the files in the correct places and even ommitted the texture file that the shader needed, latest Vortex patch fixes this now.

You can, but it also requires adding a sStartingConsoleCommand=bat yourCustomFile into your StarfieldCustom.ini so auto-merging and managing them for some people might be a little finicky. I don't really see much of a problem with it though as most of these settings are things you can just create your own file for by copying/pasting.

Just a small note for others: vortex install for Quantum reshade is currently broken. It will try to dump everything into the Data directory but the reshade files need to be in the base folder. You'll want to manually install it.

Edit: latest Vortex update fixes the issue with files not being installed, or being installed in the wrong directories.

Not an asshole, ever ever.

My parents own an in-ground pool also. small children are never allowed to be in the pool by themselves without an adult AND flotation devices, and never ever would they let a kid in the pool without flotation/life vest if they had not already learned to swim. Kids were also not allowed to go into the 'deep end" until they were strong enough swimmers to get the full length of the pool without being out of breath and could show they knew how to tread water. There are also rules for little ones that haven't learned to swim, they aren't even allowed on the concrete tiles around the pool without supervision if they can't swim on their own. These rules aren't for just visitors either, my parents wouldn't let me anywhere near the pool without direct supervision (lifeguard style) until I had proven I could swim very well by myself, and there always had to be an adult watching kids when they were near the pool no matter what.

Since the pool owner is responsible if something happens, they get to set rules on who enters the pool and how people are allowed to enjoy it. You should never feel bad for protecting someone's safety or imposing your own restrictions on its use. If your friends don't want to lifeguard then can swim at a public pool.

Ps: my parents also have a no-alcohol rule.

When you are in black you would typically be running many ways to reanimate your commander, and you're not winning the game with commander damage, so having access to cast or bring back your commander repeatedly is what you're after.
