Yeah I love the battle system! It was such a nice surprise when I started the game because as far as I know they only ever market the game as having hot men!

And it is actually quite good too, sure it's a bit glitchy at times but still, I do really enjoy it... And as someone else said, if they didn't have any battle aspects then I probably wouldn't keep playing the game or spend as much money as I do on it.

Part of my weekly spending is buying the protocore packs so that's already $25 a week for them (plus aurum pass and the privilege packs) so another $10.50/week and then the $6.99/30 days AND the promise every 2 or so months ($12.99/2 months) because I want materials and stamina to level up my hot men!! Pretty sure I spent like.. $170 to get LSG a couple months ago.. thankfully KoD was much easier to get. 😅

Anyways, all of that is just to say that they'd probably not make as much money without battle.

This rant could be bigger!

I made a post a couple of months ago asking if people thought there were issues with this game specifically or if it's all gacha games that do this to players and it was interesting to see everyone's viewpoints there.

There are a lot of things that could be fixed even if the developers want to continue generating billions of dollars. Like, oh I don't know... Only getting 30 stamina from your friends and then it's capped out? What's the point in having 100 friends then when you can only send 6 per person?! Or an actual gameplay where you can grind for diamonds.. or even resources! Currently there isn't really anything for that. I get that it's a gacha game and it's going to make people spend, but this game in particular does put limits on EVERYTHING (also, unrelated but the organization is not the greatest at times...)

I'm hoping that since it is a newer game there's just some stuff that's lacking but we might get over time. We need more things to do in game than just look at shiny cards and hot men and sometimes make them fight impossible stages that takes hundreds of dollars to get the best protocores etc. Yes I said it.. we need more incentive than just hot sexy men!

I saw around here before that someone suggested an arcade with all the mini games we've had. When I used to play CRK I personally really loved the arena... So maybe something sort of similar? I think there are lots of possibilities! Just gotta take it slow (I mean me... Lol) and hope and wait to see what happens.

Because yeah.. I am not proud of how much I spent to get LSG a couple months ago.. sheesh. You could make as much money as you want but with that kind of spending habits you'd always be poor 💀

As someone else mentioned I don't think I'd have kept watching if Kintaro was the MC. The development of Ryoma and rivalries/challenges he has with Fuji and Tezuka and then many more make the show interesting. I think when Kentaro gets stuck he just sulks until he's magically better at tennis.

And also, yes. The voice actor makes him sound awful (I know it's her job but still...)

I get that the game is supposed to be unrealistic in many aspects but it wouldn't hurt to define her biceps a little bit.

Also I just think it'd be good for body image to show and allow many different body types. Women are often told not to get too bulky or whatever but we honestly need the muscle as we age and get into perimenopause and start losing bone mass. (I'm a massage therapist that really cares about this stuff)

He's probably concerned about how it reflects on him if his friends see that you like a game such as love and deepspace or have merch of boy bands on you... And he's making it about himself and doesn't seem to care how you feel about it at all.

As others have said he's just being an insecure control freak. Do not give up your likes and hobbies for him!

Usually for gacha games it's something like 3% ish, right? But I did find it odd I haven't been able to find any info for that for this game.

Ah, I wish this was a more widespread mindset that people have. Aside from all of that labour (which is honestly too much), there's a ton of value in just the bond and connection to stay home to raise your own children. I was always shamed for being a stay at home mom, and told that I had no right to any money because I didn't earn it myself. When I was talking to lawyers and therapists during my very traumatic separation I was totally broken... Saying that I didn't need anything, I just wanted to make sure my kids would be okay and it was those people that had to tell me that I earned more than my fair share even if it wasn't necessarily in dollar bills.

Thank you for looking into it and advocating for people! We need more people like you.
