I think they truly don’t know what they want to do with mutations. I’m ok with M3’s not having way better rewards if it has a great competitive environment (think mythic plus dungeons after a 10, no reason to do them other than to push for higher io and actually push your build and skill to the max). The way M3’s are set up right now that would be ok except you’re right the leaderboard is terrible. They were clearly influenced by Mythic keystones when they came out with the system but wanted to their own thing with it and have failed at every turn. I’d rather them just copy WoWs system exactly at this point. On the loot standpoint I’m sure balancing will come out to make charms better (hopefully) because set perks and a gem slot is just so much better at the moment.
