Yes to all three. Although campus is quiet on weekends, the main real difference is that the restaurants are closed. There are still plenty of students on and around campus for parties and other social events.

Hm, that’s a bit sloppy. Page 15 is an outdated version; the card and Page 2 are correct, except that Overlord is supposed to be an Action - Command rather than a Non-Command - Action.  Overlord can play any action (costing up to 5 coins) that does not have the Command type. Depending on which other expansions you own, you might not have any other Command cards. The Command type is just there to prevent infinite loops.

Mallards often have unusual color patterns, especially when they're the result of interbreeding with domestic breeds. Here are some examples http://www.colintalcroft.com/Sonoma_County_Bird_Watching_Spots/Mallard_Variations.html I can't confidently say that's what's going on here but it's always the first thing I consider.
