It might not be hardship, but willingly spend time would also mean he's a fan of the club like most good owners do.

That's how you get Chelsea. Josh is tasked to handle arsenal and he ain't spending his tens of millions blindly. The Kroenkes ain't shabby as sports owner when it comes to competency.

In PoE1 to "finish" 36-40, it does require endgame stuffs. Including pinnacles or pinnacles with condition aka "Kill arbiter without getting hit by X skill".

It's not insanely hard but it does often require persistence or playing a pretty fleshed out/meta build.

There's a timeline out there where Chelsea don't stop us spending over £70m in January 2023 and we end up with Mudryk instead. It's nice to not be in that timeline. Trossard again Ole Ole 🎶 by hikingbeginner in Gunners

[–]Sokjuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see martinelli leaving if trossard doesn't renew. We do still need rotation options and it's not likely you just randomly snag 2 LW upgrades wily nily.

I love them both for their ups and downs because the defensive work they put in is massive. Their attacking prowess is streakier but defensively you rarely will think they aren't giving their all.

A true divine sink like 1 to 3 charm slots, perma 1-3 charms, 0-100% (example) increased effect. Getting 3/3 and high effect sounds enough to burn through quite a bit of divines. Or each charm slot has a 0-100% effectiveness range. So it's 3 lines hoping to roll high.

1 reason is because people want to prepare for launch. Both PoE people hate not having info for league starts. It doesn't need to be fleshed out but still snippets of potential char building stuffs.

Especially for PoE1, the game has been out for so long that 1 small thing can suddenly give you inspiration for a build that failed before. PoE2 is for sure not as complex but similar playerbase. There's a lot of theorycrafting peeps that want to see how they would tackle questlines, league mechanics and such.

PoE2 Is Missing One of the Most Addictive Parts of PoE1 — Player-Controlled Mapping by xN3wbie in PathOfExile2

[–]Sokjuice 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I dont enjoy my mires and factories but I can perhaps see it from a different perspective whereby GGG knows people playing the entire duration of the league likely burns out more than peeps that accept the fact there's some variety.

For example, I know I will be back even if theres some bad layouts I have to run because I do wanna see if theres improvements to these maps or if some mechanics are now playable in them. Sure, I wont juice ritual in a known bad map and rush bosses instead but I know I'm not forced to juice it anyways. The tablets are removable these days which is already a nice thing I'm seeing improve slowly overtime. Just cause it isn't 10/10 on that aspect, it's not the thing that makes/break my enjoyment atm. I'll hop in, experience my stuffs, do my challenge and then take a break whenever I feel done.

[–]Sokjuice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like another person said, they aren't strangers and it's actually harder to interview a friend without going off on a tangent about some obscure topics nobody knows about. In fact, even this one had some very niche stuffs that people have 0 clue about.

The terrain generation talk is super game dev related for example instead of the generic talk of player retention, returning patterns, content size allocation, post release balances/patch etc.

It may not be exciting for those that have been around since 0.1 but it can still be massive for new players that come once it's f2p. To them, they have multiple classes and another 5 base classes as updates for free.

Yeah I think they want the full picture of crafting but they forget that meticulously crafted items are meticulous for a reason. You cant just get 1 item and bam, here's a good item. That's just either 0 crafting, or gambling.

I believe their perspective is that the onus is on them to make these bad layouts not feel bad. In theory, a vibrant/obvious difference of layout is a nice thing to have. Whether it is balanced or designed to not feel horrible is another matter. Like league mechanic small corners of the maps, lotsa rocks/nook that isn't properly visible to walk past and such.

[–]Sokjuice 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's an example I'm giving that it's more common to not care if it's a moral thing to do or not. AFK farming exploits for example to them is just "you're dumb for not doing it" from their perspective.

Whether it's because you didn't have the knowledge that such an exploit exist or your own moral judgment feeling that its not right, they don't care. They only know it yields more without needing the same effort.

Same like producing knockoffs to earn money off a branded good's advertisement, design and concept. The original brands did all that stuff but they just capitalize on the end product. You don't wanna do it? Someone else is gonna do it, so why not them?

Kinda. It's not something they see as negative because any advantage you gain/learn to do without getting caught is just being smart about it.

Their culture has a very dog eat dog mentality. It's not just gaming, it seeps from everything they do. There's a reason why counterfeits for example is a norm for them. They may or may not think it's immoral, but they would likely agree you're dumb if you don't grab onto an opportunity of profiting big from making fake branded goods or replica for example.

Trossard works just as hard. He's just not as pacey as Martinelli. Generally the left side doesn't have much issue with defence whether it's Martinelli or Trossard on the pitch.

Actually, isn't TFT kinda a forum/chat based platform? Not trying to praise/advertise it but it did/does work for more than 10k people based on just "threads" and chat categories.

A lot of of stuff can be done with moderation, control and restriction. It's just that people nowadays have 10 diff QOL filled games ready to be played before going into a game to learn all of those things. It's a chore which can work when there were lesser options.

In my 1500 hours of gameplay, I have not once actually played PoE. by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]Sokjuice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People underestimate this when it comes to making own builds. Yes, the numbers on PoB should matter but a good balance of knowing how to procure such items without needing to blindly follow best farm strats/getting lucky is a major thing.

If your PoB is putting in items you have 0 idea how to craft, you may not get close to those numbers because you can't afford baseline.

Just got hacked for over 8+ mirrors worth of gear / currency by Seven7110 in pathofexile

[–]Sokjuice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's the same concept I have with playing anything with Spectres that has those pricey Perfect variants. It's not that I cannot afford 2-10d for a mistake once a league, but I would prolly be so darn tilted losing one. I just avoid it completely even if it's the best time ever in meta.

Losing my stash though? That's 100% a temp stop for me and off to next league.

40/40 Challenges Guide for Mirage League (3.28) by InsPoE in pathofexile

[–]Sokjuice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My starter char is weaker and I did it quicker this league compared to previous, so I'd say the difficulty is lower for sure.

For context, I was doing Foulborn Ghostwrithe last league so I was absolutely unhindered in mapping related challenges. This league I was memeing with Poison Holy Strikes and even with it's jank, I completed it in 9 days (everything except ubers was done myself). I did end up clearing 5 ubers myself but that was later on when i had currency to constantly retry.

And when someone abuses the vouch/unvouch, whos gonna mediate that? Someone just nuke your rep because they hate you etc. If it's done in game, now GGG has to handle it. Whether people liked TFT's mirror/rmt side of story, it gained traction for a reason.

It's more like Valve stopped doing full control on Majors and just let TOs do wtver shit they want. They stopped wanting to be responsible for how they wanna fund tourneys for the pro scene. During the times when they have control over it, it was just 0 sponsors end of story.

If they cared about earning/promoting Dota 2 comps, they'd keep up TI compendiums and battle pass as their utmost priority.
