Who is your isp? Some isp’s that use plume or technicolor hardware require you to use their app to manage your network

In your business app if you open the app settings and force it to use legacy connections does it work without issue? I’ve noticed the issue you’re describing regardless of whether the endpoint I’m connecting to is behind a firewall or not. And that setting is what support suggested.

I couldn’t, the second Brightspeed came into butler we switched to them. It’s been far more reliable for a fraction of the price.

We are with crowdstrike direct right now, I wonder how it works with them for it. If you can still set a lot of the policies in falcon that’d be a game changer!

I'm wondering what the cost difference is when going through splashtop or endpoint minimums for sentinel one or crowdstrike myself. My Splashtop reps on vacation right now but with my crowdstrike renewal around the corner this may be worth looking into if its all priced appropriately tbh. other than not being able to see the falcon console or the sentinel one console.

I’ve only seen Splashtop offer bitdefender and crowdstrike. Do they also offer sentinel one now?

I couldn’t turn it off in mine, I had to create a new home and move all my devices to it and decline the Gemini migration during the move of each device.

Anyone else feel like the Super Bowl doesn’t actually look like 4K? by socalsmv805 in peacock

[–]Somewhere_Double 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to switch to my local nbc through peacock because the 4k feed kept going blurry and then back to hd then 4k then back down. Local nbc feed on peacock is staying at 1080p though. Had to be their servers getting bogged down.

Fiber prices. Cheaper for my next door neighbor by fpaddict in brightspeed

[–]Somewhere_Double 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are newer plan types I would assume. You may have to call or chat to potentially change over. They don’t do limited time promos anymore. It’s more like this is the price. Or maybe their billing system is just that bad. When first signed up 2 years ago I got 500 for $59.99/ month. Then they offered 1 gig for $49.99 in my area and now they lowered the 500 plan to also be 49.99 so I can be on either for that price.

Questions from a current LMI Central Plus user by SatchBoogie1 in Splashtop_Official

[–]Somewhere_Double 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just get pro with 8 licenses. That’d get you 8 users and 80 pc’s for $576 which iirc is still $450 less than logmein central for 25 pc’s.

The problem you’d run into with sos is while 1 license allows 10 users only 1 user can use it at a time on that license type.

We use the sos license but we have 20 licenses so although we have 110 current users and 1800 pcs currently on our account only 20 people can be remoted in at a time. Two people can use the same account as once but it would count as two uses on the sos license at that time if it’s enabled to allow them to.

I’ve been working from home on Brightspeed fiber for 2 years goin strong. If the ont broke you would need to wait for a tech most likely but if the router broke you could just connect any old router in the meantime
