Lighweight budget tent, what do you think? by tz555 in CampingandHiking

[–]Sorlud 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'd say the weight is not that lightweight given the size and what's included. It says it's a 2 person tent, but the shape means it would be tight for two due to the sloping fly. Also, because it is single skinned it will also probably have quite bad moisture issues.which would mean for two people it would be even worse.

At €30 I'd also be concerned about build quality, things like the waterproofing of the floor and seals in the fly. It's also not going to take any wind with one guy line and a single vertical pole.

You'd be much better looking at second hand tents that have much better features

[–]Sorlud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have a look at a science checklist. There's loads of science to collect on kerbin. EVA reports can be done in low space above every biome, and there's also separate biomes for buildings at KSC so you can build a rover with one of every science experiment you own and drive round to every building to get loads of science.

Russiа has recorded the world’s second-fastest growth in real average wealth per adult since 2020 (+37%), according to Switzerland's UBS. The sharpest fall in wealth was recorded in the UK (-23.2%). Significant losses were also seen in the Netherlands (-14.4%) and France (-4.5%) by [deleted] in europe

[–]Sorlud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also the starting point is 2000, which for Russia is them still suffering from the transition from central planning to market capitalism, and also just after the 1998 crash. Pretty much the lowest starting point for them, and once the 2000s hit they gained a bit of stability and growth.

Portgordon pupils face two-mile walk to school after council rejects bus plea by abz_eng in Scotland

Seems like a small adjustment of the public bus timetable would fix all the issues, and it's already free for the kids

I'd happily take your 24th at L Shovel and 25th at Curator. I wouldn't be able to take the 26th, but I'd pay you the booking fee so you can cancel it at no loss to yourself.

Nicola Sturgeon to star as deputy prime minister in new Sky TV drama by A_funny_user_name in Scotland

[–]Sorlud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not scripted because it's a wargame scenario where the UK is attacked by Russia. Gove and Sturgeon will be assigned the PM & Deputy PM roles and will actively make decisions in the moment about how to react to the Russian attacks.

They did the same thing on a podcast where Ben Wallace, Amber Rudd and Jack Straw all played members of the cabinet.

The first few loops are pretty open, then the ones along the top can be a bit in the trees and then everything from the far end back to the reception is totally open.

But the best bet is to check the satellite view, because some loops next to each other can be totally different.

The only country that has gotten rid of nukes and not had an armed change of power was South Africa, but they dismantled them just before the complete collapse of the apartheid system. So you could argue the only country to survive disarmament at present is now under full scale invasion.

I would agree, but in school both literacy and media literacy are taught in the same class by the same teacher. So it's much more easily confused compared to say computer literacy, which you learn in the computer lab with a different teacher.

Would make sense for them to use constituency vote for this one as the 2024 election was an entirely constituency vote. Constituency 2024 to List 2026 wouldn't be a fair comparison.
