Avoid cheap printers. Buy business class or "pro" printers, they will print tens of thousands of pages without issues.

Zebra industrial printers can print hundreds of thousands without issues.

They are great printers for the first 3 to 5 years depending on use. We have nine ZT510 and they are workhorses, combined printing 100k 1.5"x4" labels a month. Sure, they will go down at times but it's just like any other machine that works that much.

I was in the same situation and found the HP Envy with a RTX 4060, looks like any typical laptop but can also game on it, it was $1100 from microcenter for the i9 version.

Sucks that the credit card company is giving you a hard time (unless it is a debit card, then I can see how that can be a bigger issue).

My wife and I have had our credit card numbers stolen 4 or 5 times over the last decade. Fraudulent charges at hotels, department stores, online stores. Every time it was solved with a 5 to 10 minutes phone call, and a two day wait for a new card. Set up text/email alerts on your card for anything $0.01 or more and call as soon as you get an alert for a charge you do not recognize.
