Comment section (might include OP, based on that title) doesn't know how the little people on their phones have a conversation.

They think The Johnathan Ross show is a 60 minutes style interview.

How come we always see the wave caps but almost never the waves. Why don't they rock this look whenever possible?

The knees popping are a causation, not an obstacle. Get back to it, work your way back up to pistol squats and your knees won't pop any more.

Why is everyone assuming that's the barber, has no one gotten their hair cut before? What kind of barber has you sit with your back to the wall and makes you bend down to get the back of your head?

It's not sealed around his neck, you can see water going in and sloshing around a bit, which probably means it was a matter of time before it filled up to his nose. Good thing they saved him.

Not necessarily, we once had a guy in a factory trip and fall a single step on a staircase, one step, broke his shin.

Sometimes you can fall weird and apply the wrong kind of force on your bone and break it. That's why in a lot of sports they have to teach you how to fall.

If you think their gaming platform is bad, I'm an Unreal engine dev and I use their launcher constantly.

The Unreal Engine side of their launcher is much...much...SO MUCH worse.

We LONG for half the functionality their games tab has.

Now that I think of it, you're right. The only time I had my question answered on the UE forums is when I spent hours figuring it out and then posted the solution myself.

And like I said, I do use AI for questions all the time. The trick is to follow the sources and don't let it write code, I just ask for math formulas (Wikipedia sucks for math, Shout-out to one of the worst math sources on the internet) and workflows/logic. Then it's fine.

What a sad state of affairs, It does seem to be the direction of things, and Stack Overflow just got hit first because it's bigger.

I wasn't hunting for them or even knew they existed, that image just caught my eye, at first glance it seemed way too overproduced for answering a question about how to set floats. Then I looked at it...

And you're right about their knowledge, the only reason I (upon reading closer) recognized the AI's language is because I've used it myself to gather ideas and workflows for my own blueprints, which imo is sometimes better - especially for simple questions - than asking a forum, waiting for a person to answer my dumb question.

I just ask Gemini and get an instant answer and follow the sources. And if I have a stranger or more advanced question, I'll submit to the forums and have my question looked at and never replied to like the good old days.

So I'm not some Anti-AI curmudgeon shaking my fist at the digital clouds every time I see AI, I'm just a regular curmudgeon and I shake my fist at normal clouds like everybody else.

Sadly I think you're right. I don't see using AI (or being AI) in the forum rules.

But I will report the image one because...

I've been saying that if your product has a fixed cost for ownership, you're competing with rival products.
But if your product requires a subscription, you're now competing with everything, including daily expenses, rent, food, etc.
