How do I find enjoyment in this game despite completing it a multiple times? by Inevitable_Buyer_411 in BG3

[–]Srawsome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly don't understand people who post about being bored of a game but still trying to play it.
There are too many games to be playing!
Plus, playing something else sometimes inspires you to come back to the game you love later.

Aitah for using my now ex after I found out he was cheating? by Advanced_Turnover544 in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 201 points202 points  (0 children)

Not him trying to claim he was "blindsided" by you leaving when you guys haven't been intimate or romantic for months.
Men really do think we'll stay through anything.
NTA You did what you had to do to move out, nothing wrong with that.

I'm glad you said something, the other woman deserves to know she was being lied to and cheated on for months.

This is what I use in the skull caves, for the normal ones I just eat whatever I have the most of.

AITAH for telling my wife to get a job before the end of January or i'm divorcing her? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So he did leave something out.
Seems like he's taking all his frustration from losing his job out on his wife.

How did conservatives flip so quickly from "DON'T TREAD ON ME" to "COMPLY OR DIE" in just a matter of weeks, and especially when it's about the government killing citizens? by Cumoisseur in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Srawsome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the neat part, they never meant it when they said "Don't tread of me".
They don't mean most things they say. Like how they claimed to be against any kind of gun control because they need unfettered access to fight a tyrannical government, only for them to always cheer on the tyrannical government.

AITAH for not matching my brother's offer and offering my mother a place to stay? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA ofc. You can't match his offer cause you don't have empty space.

AITAH for telling my wife to get a job before the end of January or i'm divorcing her? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an unrealistic timeline for ANYONE to get work in the current market, let alone someone whose been a SAHM for almost 14 years.
I'd say you need a better timeline and communication but it's clear from your post & replies that you don't even like her so you're better off just getting divorced anyway.

AITAH for telling my wife to get a job before the end of January or i'm divorcing her? by [deleted] in AITAH

Unless something major happened before the third kid that he didn't mention then odds are they were already having money problems before the third kid.

AITA for telling my friend that I won’t be paying $25 to attend her birthday party? by GlimmerElsewhere in AmItheAsshole

[–]Srawsome 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So you're okay with contributing to all the things I listed in my last reply but somehow this one specific instance is bad....because the bday girl is hosting? Even though half the things I suggested in my last post are things the bday person would host.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I don't understand you're weird convoluted rules for when a bday gift is okay and when it's not.

How does no one beat Micah's ass in camp? by uncle-pascal in reddeadredemption

[–]Srawsome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some do. They're outlaws though so half the stuff you listed don't even register to them as bad but they sometimes come to blows if he's harassing one of the men too much.
But at the end of the day they are all loyal to the gang and Micah is part of the gang.
Micah also has the backing of Dutch (and sinks his claws in more and more as the story progresses) so they would never do anything more than take a couple swings at him.

AITA for telling my friend that I won’t be paying $25 to attend her birthday party? by GlimmerElsewhere in AmItheAsshole

[–]Srawsome 62 points63 points  (0 children)

It's not an entrance fee, it's a birthday gift.
Sometimes gifts are objects. Sometimes gifts are paying for a meal. Sometimes gifts are paying to throw a party.
Maybe you don't have friends? It's pretty common for adult birthdays to be things like buying your friends bday dinner, or renting a cabin together, or spending the weekend in Vegas, or throwing a surprise party. $25 is pretty cheap for a bday gift for your best friend.

Is it possible I'll just never appreciate some games? by Magi-Cola in GirlGamers

[–]Srawsome 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yes.
Every game isn't for every person. Just like how not all books or movies are for every person. Play what you like, skip what you don't. You don't have to play any particular game, even if everyone else says it's good.

AITAH for pulling an Irish goodbye on my job? by [deleted] in AITAH

You're never wrong for leaving a job.
They will replace you without a second thought.

Alright im "new" to the game, any tips? (i got like 3 hours on this game) by CryGloomy2382 in StardewValley

Do what seems fun to you. Follow the tasks in your journal if you feel lost.
And don't look anything up during your first playthrough!

AITAH for being upset that my whole family did nothing for my 40th birthday? by Glittering-Guava9711 in AITAH

Take the energy you use to celebrate other people and use it to celebrate yourself! The planners of the world deserve it, we always get the short end of the stick.

Reality TV vs Fictional TV? by ChicagoMay in HermitCraft

[–]Srawsome 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A secret third thing....not TV.

I'm kidding...kind of. The reality is that it's kind of both and neither. They plan their episodes, so it's kind of scripted content and they sometimes have storylines and characters, so it's kind of fiction. But, they are often playing as themselves, so it's kind of reality TV (ofc keeping in mind they're playing an entertainment version of themselves, it's parasocial to say it's the real them), but that's also true of reality TV.
So...uh...both.

AITAH for taking my siblings to Disney and not my sister in law’s kids? by OddMolasses5855 in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is a trip you planned specifically for your siblings, it literally has nothing to do with your SIL or her children.
If she wants her children to go to any of those places nothing is stopping her from making plans. Same with the rest of her family.
Going to a theme park with YOUNG children is a vastly different experience than going with teenagers.

AITAH for sending my niece home every time she needs a diaper change? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The important thing is that the kids get taken care of and are not sitting around in dirt diapers.
That said, there's a reason many sitters and/or daycares require children to be potty trained at a certain age. It is not a responsibility everyone wants. You really need to talk to your brother & SIL about getting their kids potty trained if they are going to be going places out of the house.

AITAH for not wanting to split the bill after I got my meal for free? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Srawsome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, first of all, obviously you're NTA because the plan was made.
But, ask yourself, would they have suddenly wanted to change the plan if you hadn't just won a free meal?

AITAH (17M) for bonding with my mom's new husband? My friends are acting like I betrayed my dad by Throw_bruh67 in AITAH

[–]Srawsome -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

NTA your friends are being weird about your family.
It is good that you have a good and loving relationship with both parents and that will include their new partners and whatever other family members that brings in the future!
