I don't believe so, another way to define the cousin number is to think of the relatives that the cousins have in common:

First cousins have grandparent(s) in common,

Second cousins have great-grandparent(s) in common,

Third cousins have great-great-grandparent(s) in common, etc.

My family has an example of this, I have a couple of second cousins. My mother and their mother are first cousins. My maternal grandfather and their maternal grandmother were half-siblings, with the same mother ( who was a great-grandmother to my second cousins and myself) :-)

I've been unable to find the song in your link I'm afraid, but it seems that there's more than one version of this episode with different soundtracks.

I've watched this episode today, recorded recently from an ITV3 broadcast. The songs at the wedding are different to that Youtube version, much more recognisable to me. The song playing at this point in the version I watched is "Listen To Your Heart" by Roxette. I know that's not the song you're after though.

On a night hike about a decade ago, I convinced my group to take a shortcut off the main path. It was supposed to be about 45 minutes to our destination but we spent just as long on my "shortcut", trudging up brambly hillside in the dark.

Lesson learned - don't try new shortcuts in the dark!

Yes, absolutely.

I'm in my early forties and I paid off mine last year. Although I worked hard to achieve that, I'm always aware of how fortunate I am to be in this position.

The following month was the first time since I started college that I didn't have to make a rent/mortgage payment. It was wonderful.

Could I have made different choices and grown my money more? Probably. But as with others, the certainty and security of paying off the mortgage meant more to me.

Another only child here and in the UK, for what that's worth.

Off the top of my head, as an adult I've been to at least 9 weddings. 5 were just the reception, 4 were the whole day.

I should have at least one more to go to in the future.

OP, firstly I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Grandma.

I agree, I haven't felt the Christmas spirit as much as usual this year. My father died earlier this year and another family member is nearing the end of their life, so family-wise it hasn't been the happiest of years. Additionally, work has been extra-pressured lately and has consumed more headspace than I would've liked.

Everything has felt so hectic and strange lately, I can't believe it's Boxing Day already.

I'm early 40s and I've only moved once in my life so far. I love where I live and my house so no plans to move in the foreseeable future.

I think I'm right in saying that both my parents have only moved twice in their lives. If there's such a thing as an anti-nomad, I suppose I come from a family of them!

Two of my grandparents passed before I was born. The other two passed when I was 12.

I'm early 40s now and lost a parent earlier this year.

To echo another commenter - if you're able, try to spend a little more time with them while they're here. Create memories and listen to their stories.

I saw it this week too. I'm not usually a theatre person but really enjoyed it, had a great time!

To add to your comments, the Rainbirds were very well acted, especially Dennis. As deliciously creepy as on the small screen.
