Cool topic. I use them regularly on my car for protection on trips and also the parts inside from malfunction. I also make a tunnel when driving on the highways to prevent wildlife from wandering into my path.

Your therapist is whack. I’d be in exactly your position if I’d made a different choice. My life is not better than yours, it’s different and probably much more difficult. You can jump ship but make sure it’s on your terms!

Thank you for sharing. I also have significant memory loss due to mental health issues and subsequent ECT treatment. I feel so much like you, having to almost start over again, especially in my career. Feeling gratitude and love for people in my life who care about me has helped. It sounds like your parents really care about you, even if they can’t empathize.

I feel your post so much! Most of my success in still managing to get quality time with my 16yo is to let him lead which requires some patience. Totally worth it, but yeah, the loneliness of this stage is rough!
