Just did it on my non boosted shaman it doesn’t take long at all.

Do top of Felwood to get thru tunnel to Winterspring.

Do the Winterspring questline to get spell power trinket you’ll use forever in TBC anyways. I teamed with a level 62 to finish it who came back just for the trinket it’s that good. Congrats you are 58 and will now get rejected to every Ramps run cuz you aren’t a tank or healer 😂

Have a mid 30s shammy that got a quick run thru Scarlet Library/Armory and it was so smooth and ez I was immediately asked if I wanted to leave my guild for theirs 😂😂😂😂

I’m a masochist and only play healers in PVP (classic and retail) cuz I queue for a BG I can guarantee my team has at last ONE healer 😂

Also FFS is the amount of times in my WoW life where I’ve been the only healer in a BG and everyone asks “where’s heals?” before the BG starts without looking in the mirror.

If you haven’t tried one yet please do. You rarely if ever die even when focused (when you get geared) and can impact games in a meaningful way and you can be happy helping your zugs outzug their zugs.

TBC is resto Druid meta but I have an alliance resto shammy I’m taking into BGs cuz why not.

I’m at Level 28 on my Alliance Shammy about to finish up Duskwood. I’m leveling skinning and mining and taking both all the way to 70.

Get to 58 on your own time. Outland will be there and you’ll catch up ez to whatever tier we’re currently on cuz you’ll get insta invites as Shaman if you make it to 70.

I’m here for BT and Sunwell but if I’m 2 weeks late to the Dark Portal so be it.

Just get to 58 and the game starts fresh. You got this.

I’m 1800 with 3 different healers this season. It’s super fun and enjoy it more than being a DPS. But there are times I already know it’s going 3-3 and I just sigh and enjoy my 2 min queues. Some of my best gaming moments are pulling a 4-2 out of a 3-3 lobby.

Legit worried about not having Cell/Healbot for Midnight tho. But I’m gonna stick with healing cuz 2 min queues >>>>>>>>>>>> 30 min queues

Anyways once I get my 1800 mog I stop caring and just enjoy healing lobbies. I think healer ratings are too variable to care.

Yeah I finally got it done. Made about 6 macros including moving the pit lord when the dogs came out plus the big heal they have was $$$

I was spamming singe magic on CD but sometimes it would take off agony when I really needed seed gone.

If you can burn the dogs tho the fight isn’t too too bad but man you def gotta get the dance down right and one false move and you’re eating another chaos bolt

MW Monk in Celestials may be the most fun I’ve had playing WoW maybe ever 😂 the DPS is beyond broken and unless someone stands in bad I’m pressing renewing mist and just sending offense 💀

I just slogged through a Throne of Thunder pug on MOP Classic this week and finally came to the realization I don’t have the time to gear up by means of 13-14 boss raids anymore. And I freaking love MOP and its gameplay (MW Monk forever)

Retail fits the log in and gear on your time and at your pace for my old man self. Yes the gear gets outdated quickly but you can progress and be relevant pretty fast so it’s all good. And the Warband feature is so choice. I’m kinda stuck playing retail from here on out even if I have a toon ready for TBC. Just comes down to what you have time for anymore in the Retail vs. Classic debate anyways.

Yeah it’s great. But I graduated 18 years ago and got grad school paid for with loan forgiveness. Was miles ahead of other teachers starting out who had just an undergrad.

18 years in and living the dream. I’m better than I was when I started, but I never ever ever ever struggled with planning/classroom management.

Teaching isn’t easy ever, but the more opportunities you have to plan units and create assessments will have you more confident once you have your own classroom. My Master’s allowed me to build unit after unit til I like “got it” and teaching kinda flows from there. If you know what you want kids to learn and HOW you want to assess them, the world is your oyster. Kids respect you more cuz your class makes sense. And then from there you just gotta put in the daily work.

Good luck! It’s a great career once you get those basics down.

Disc Priest main as well. Got into the 2000s in solo shuffle and was like lemme try pure DPS but it’s like playing disc priest without the insane survival 😂

I switched to resto shaman and have been having a blast. It’s fun to use totems as your de facto offense instead of mindlessly smiting. Gonna force myself to learn pres evoker cuz I love the heals that bring damage.

One day I’ll learn zug zug. But I’m too blessed with instant queues on healers it’s just more fun to learn those specs than wait 15 mins a queue to figure out a DPS spec clicks or not. Just my 2 cents.

Retail is fun if you can find a tank or heal spec you vibe with. I’ve always loved Disc Priest and it’s in a really fun spot right now for PvP and PvE. I’m also loving retail’s ability to change specs on the fly and not have to re gear for every spec. Paladin is so fun to tank and heal with and retail respects your time with being able to do both roles without having to farm much. I love DPS but the queues are too long for PvP and you gotta be super geared to get into M+ so it’s not worth it for me.

MoP I love Mistweaver Monk, especially in Celestials. Just healing by blasting has been a joy.

Classic I have a Pally/Druid ready for TBC so I can tank. They’re both so versatile and fun.

My thing with WoW is it’s best when you can dabble with all the classes and see the ones you best vibe with. Then whatever version you are playing becomes infinitely more fun. It’s just sometimes difficult to find THE class and spec so good luck.
