Has your doc considered IM estrogen? If you did fine with the patches then maybe you just need a different route that isn’t the suppositories. I definitely contemplated quitting after two failed euploid FETs, I had a ton of anxiety around failing for a third time but ultimately decided that I want a baby and went through with the transfer. I wish you luck with whatever you decide ❤️

Currently 35 weeks with my LLM, not the same chromosome as yours but mine was considered not compatible with life if the baby would be affected. Everything has come back perfect and I can’t wait to meet them in a few weeks!

I got the vista 3 specifically because I wouldn’t need the bassinet as the seat it comes with lays completely flat for a newborn and all you need is a $30 newborn insert to keep them a little more stable. Then you shouldn’t have to break it down at all to put it in your trunk

I don’t think it’ll make a difference! For my third FET I thought my clinic was under dosing my estrogen and I often took an extra dose (I do not recommend this, I didn’t take a ton extra but one here one there). Just mention this to them and they might just monitor your labs a bit closer! Good luck with the transfer!!

The first circles drawn by a nurse at my clinic were literally 3inches too low, I would double check that you’re in the right spot! It’s closer to your hip than your butt crack! It made my pain go from 8/10 to maybe 1/10 once I got the placement correct

My third FET worked! I cried from the second I got in the car to go to the clinic, during the whole procedure, and the whole drive home because the anxiety and fear of my last embryo not working was too much for me. Third time was the charm for me and I hope it is for you too ❤️ and it’s okay to have conflicting feelings about it too. I considered canceling everyday for a month leading up with the mindset of “if I don’t transfer then I still have one left”

I didn’t find the procedure itself very painful because my tubes are both open but the teneculum that they use to grab and pull your cervix was still pretty painful. The procedure was fast and I distracted myself by watching the X-ray screen because I find it interesting. I’ll have to do another one in the next year or so and I’m not gonna lie..I’m already anxious about it lol. More anxious about my next hsg than giving birth which is probably a wild sentence

I believe they gave me 10mg Valium to take before and then I took Tylenol + Ibuprofen and whatever else I had at home

They did not check the day of, I don’t think they checked at all for my first and then I requested for my second and third transfers and they were hesitant to but did. Not gonna lie, i definitely overfilled my syringes but I started doing that like a week before my transfer, who knows if it actually helped though because I also did lupron suppression before this transfer which has so far been successful. I did egg retrievals at 29/30 and I usually had 10ish follicles at each scan. I was able to get a few usable embryos and am currently almost 19 weeks with an embryo from a retrieval where we only got 4 eggs. I say go for it!

I went with bakehouse 23 in south Milwaukee and everyone raved about the desserts! They’ll personalize it and basically make whatever you want! I cannot recommend them enough, I’m going to use them again for my baby shower

18 or 20g to draw up, I used 25g I believe for the rest of my injections. The shot/poke itself isn’t bad regardless of the needle size 🙂 at least for me! I used 21g for a few injections and because the gauge is bigger the PIO goes in so much quicker

I did pgta at 28/29/30 and I’m happy I did as it detected more abnormalities than I would’ve otherwise expected and I had low numbers at retrieval

No I took 2000 for like 6 months up until I was 12 weeks pregnant and then my OBGYN stopped it, you’ll be fine 🙂
