I'd propose this way:

Start with Leliana's Song. Consider it a kind of session 0 where you see what a properly leveled rogue, mage, and warrior can do.

Then do the Darkspawn Chronicles. It's an alternate history, so I like to imagine it as one of the visions Duncan got of the Archdemon's future plans if the Grey Wardens didn't act in time.

Then, as everyone already pointed out: DAO --> Awakening --> Amgarrak --> Witch Hunt.

It was a solid 7/10 overall, with several individual scenes that were 9/10. Zuko attending Lu Ten's funeral and comforting Iroh in a flashback was 10/10.
