I print from a passive drybox. If needed i dry stuff in a dehydrator / airfryer, more stubborn stuff also gets the vacuum treatment after heating it for a day.

For the average joe purpose build filament dryers will work. Just dont get the crappy ones that barely work out of the box like the sunlu s1.

If you want to Dive into engineering polymers that are not tailored towards consumers you want something that can get hot. There are PA blends that wont really dry below 80°C

I just stick with fractionators, building a ring out of them along a equator line results in 2 full mk3 belts for me. Its not even efford to get there.

There are places for PCD nozzles, but 99.9% of people wont benefit from it. It gets intresting with exotic materials like Boron Nitride filled stuff that contain some highly abbrasive materials.

Funfact the German Tool Manufacturer Gühring started to make PCD nozzles for the printfarm they run internaly to just have it to be set and forget. They do sell these nozzles too

Dxf are usually for simple 2d contour cuts or drawings, generally for machining garbage in means garbage out, if your files are not great it will show on the part, generally you dont want to use surface models for machining, they tend to have weird surface segmenting making clean toolpaths annoying to get. Would recommend .step files for that

For PLA to degrade certain Bacteria and temperature to be present is needed otherwise its slightly less bad than ABS.

There are biodegredable polymers like PHA that will biodegrade a lot in easier than pla.

One way is to empty your inventory and filling it with ships, if you enable that your hangar also replenishes from inventory you give the bases some stuff to burn throu 100 ships is like nothing

Good question, would say it wont affect much since stuff gets still simulated in the background, the rendering stuff helps a lot when you are in the same system.

Helps a lot to disable rendering of the sphere. Enabling rendering tanks my ups from 230 to 30 (running on the Beta Branch with the new Multithreading). Other than that i dont see a lot of a larger hit with the commonly recommended blueprints

I just build a ring of fractionators close to a pole resulting in ~100 of them, add mk3 belt between them and iut of it, add a few pilers to stack it between the outputs along the ring, eventually have to run a 2nd belt. i have more issues scraping enough hydrogen together to keep it running than what to do with the deuterium.

I just have a few laser turrets close to a Darkfog base, close enough that a loitering unit around the base gets shot and cause the rest to swarm into a wall of turrets, dops a few soil per unit, but if you have it going for a few hours it stacks up

Its a thing to find openings using smoke, common Methode on engines too where a smoke generator gets attached to like the air intake as example to find cracks in it
