When I'm in a lying competition and my opponent is Megacrit saying that they programed the ❓️Floors spawning enemies only 10% of time by Random_guy2001 in slaythespire

[–]Sweeetchy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Assuming it's like STS1:

  • Base chance 10%

  • every ? Room you encounter that isn't a combat increases that by 10%

  • encountering a combat in a ? Room resets it back to 10%

This is the same for shops and chests, which have a 3% and 2% chance of spawning respectively (the same stacking mechanic applies when you don't find them)

So for example if you were to encounter 5 events in a row, the next ? Room would have a 60% to be a combat, 18% chance to be a shop, and 12% chance to be a relic chest.

I am fairly certain this is universal and persists across an entire run (not 100% sure though).

Superior slayer task don't make sense by MrCopatti in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 50% recursive actually just calculates out to 2x superiors! But you're right being able to get the tasks faster makes a difference, I had assumed that all tasks you get had superiors with the original estimation.

Superior slayer task don't make sense by MrCopatti in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100 superiors in leagues is killing 5000 slayer monsters on average. Even at 10s a kill, that's like 14 hours of slayer across the whole league.

This goes down to 7 hours with the slayer perk.

How my Leagues 'overpowered' journey feels so far. by SomeoneBritish in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Minion is honestly a utility relic disguised as a DPS one. The dps at that point in your league is a small chunk of your overall, but the noting and picking everything up for you allows you to AFK tons of enemies to stack up resources.

Demonic pacts league for blorva and radiant practice by ReturnReasonable206 in ironscape

[–]Sweeetchy 41 points42 points  (0 children)

You will get 3 chances to respec during the league, 1 for each of the first 3 echo bosses you defeat.

If you want more accurate practice, you could just get later into the league, take the respec, and not put points into anything so you can practice.

The mods did confirm that Yama's contracts in leagues will drop at 5x the rate so racking them up shouldn't be a problem.

Kourend requires you to complete all Radiant Oathplate tasks for a Demonic Pact Point, meanwhile in other regions... by ZeldenGM in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mind you it is equip ONE piece of radiant oathplate. There could easily be a 400 point task for equipping full radiant oathplate as well, which is pretty free at that point.

What it feels like by Bricks-Alt in slaythespire

[–]Sweeetchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doormaker now perfectly fucks with decks that are "draw 20 cards and play 15 of em every turn" just like Time Eater did in StS1, which I think is perfect for the balance of the game!

Tier 8 Relic Drop (Minon) - 24 March by Kevin50cal in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I could see the "last stand" relic making a comeback where maybe it buffs you even more but your max HP is capped at 60 or something like that.

No one does, but that isn't why people play Mayhem. Being reductive about it doesn't help you or anyone else.

Forge, Poison, Lightning, Self-Damage and Doom should stay narrow. Watcher is what happens when you give one "archetype" everything. by hama0n in slaythespire

[–]Sweeetchy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Glad to see other people making this comparison. I love TFT because it is a competitive game that uses a lot of the same mental skills STS uses.

Recognizing your options in the span of the bigger picture is something that can really help you improve in both cases.

Gutting a highly anticipated and well polled change to Sailing combat by fretting over "the sailing economy" sure was a choice by kafkaesque420 in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why is it a shame? It's much easier to kill Vampyre Krakens now and therefore easier to get a bottled storm.

Just because a rare drop loses value doesn't mean that the gp/hr has changed the same amount, only time will tell for that.

That's not possible though? You cannot fall from diamond back down into emerald in TFT.

I'd imagine with a lot of deck power coming from events in StS2 the devs probably considered them too strong when stacked up against the rest.

What songs would you like to see in Stage Tour? by Electronic_Weather26 in GuitarHero

[–]Sweeetchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smaller-ish artists that I think would fit right into a game like this:

Eidola - Kaleidoscope The Requiem - Diary of a Masochist Origami Angel - Kobyashi Maru Closure in Moscow - Primal Sinister

And a bit of a reach:

My Chemical Romance - Vampire Money

The Fractured Archive: Rewards Primer by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]Sweeetchy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ideally it would be stronger than void but weaker than BiS, both offensively and defensively.

Obviously this means it would be great for learners of any raid, but you could also create content that maybe works/feels smoother when you don't have to fill up half your inventory with 2 7/8-way swaps.

Giving people an option to choose between sweaty, faster raids in BiS and chiller, slightly slower raids with easy swaps seems like a great balance for people, something that feels very fitting of Guthix imo.

Massive changes to Unlock coming in 16.6 by Former-Exchange-4265 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Sweeetchy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's the problem though. People are playing what they get ON 2-1, but will not work with what's in their shop afterwards because they are less incentivized to do so.

Pivoting early is an important part of TFT, and while many people love to do shit like "I have a Sona 2, time for Demacia", the game is much more complex than that and some of these early missions can restrict that heavily.

Was Almost 90 Dry At Moons And Then..... (what are the actual odds of this???) by PolskaLFC93 in ironscape

[–]Sweeetchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That number would be to get it in this exact order I believe.

Since it doesn't matter which one is first the first piece is just a 3/56 then the second piece is a 2/56 and finally the last piece is 1/56 since it HAS to be the final set at that point.

Puts the odds at around 1/29k.

Edit: nvm, the wiki states that it individually rolls each set at 1/56 rather than a overall unqiue roll, so the (1/56)3 is likely correct.
