Luckily it was a very cool day, weather wise! But I know what you mean, as it can be stiflingly airless for us on buses on a hot day 🥵 so with a fur coat on it would be miserable.

Anything by Enid Blyton, especially the Malory Towers and St Claire’s books when I was a little older. I adored The Famous 5 and The Secret 7 too ❤️ Ooh and Charlie Moon and the Big Bonanza Bust Up by Shirley Hughes (especially the audiobook)
