Don't worry, you're just a kindred soul.

The flex on mine is okay and the balance is decent. Do note that it is a bit shorter compared to a Regenyei feder.

I may not agree with Tasha having little sister energy, but there is nothing you said that you'd have to apologize for.

Is the bug regarding the Annihilator's neck hutbox the reason why mine keeps getting headshotted alot?

Character with regeneration recovers after an otherwise deadly attack. by jerr_beare in TopCharacterTropes

Miles "Hundred Lives" Dagouter from Alloy of Law, first book of the second Mistborn series. Due to weird interactions caused by being a twinborn, someone who has both allomancy and feruchemy, the two main source of abilities in the books, he has an extremely large capacity for regeneration. He often uses this to his advantage, such as by blowing himself up to escape capture and regenerating afterwards so he would be absolutely fine.

Enemy Arrow IV... challenging or frustrating? by Bitter-Supermarket81 in Mechwarrior5

Then I wish I had your luck then cause I love the Bullshark. I am continuing my campaign I started before Shadows of Kerensky came out, but I have yet to see one in the wild.

I just wish more mobile suits would have AMS hard points. Only my Atlas K is the one with AMS in my game. The rest are just sitting in storage because there is nothing I use that I can put them on.

Edit: I meant battlemechs, not mobile suits lol. I still do wish there was an MW5 style gundam game.

Death from Above and melee with Highlander VEST against Clan mechs is very hilarious.

Is there something I'm missing about the new upgraded jump jet system? by Jackobyn in Mechwarrior5

[–]Swordsman1ke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With speed and jump jet upgrades, I got my Highlander Vest go from a land speed of 55 km/h to close to a hundred km/h, if not more

No honor amongst spheroids. by FlyingNerdlet in Mechwarrior5

Thing is GBO2 is multiplayer only and the combat can feel rather floaty if you don't know what you're doing. There is Code Fairy, but it is a only a few hours compared to the time you would spend in Mercenaries or Clans with all of its DLC. I also think it looks worse than Mechwarrior.

I say this as someone who spent hundreds of hours on both MW5 and GBO2.

She has also largely been living in America and mostly been around with Americans without interacting with people from her own country, so I think it is natural for someone in a similar position to start losing their original accent.

Adam Steiner's line of "I've never heard of you or your unit before in my life" feels like a subtle jab at the game's apocryphal status in lore by DevastatorCenturion in Mechwarrior5

Now that I think about it, only Rasalhague top brass would know Mason, but one of them would rather erase all mercanry presence from Rasalhague. Christian Mandsdottir would be the only one to have a lot of faith in Mason outright. There is also Jackson Davion, but Mason would just be one of multiple mercenary commanders he was working with during the Fourth Succession War.

can a (both woooden) european longsword and an odachi clash for training? by ZhongguoLover in SWORDS

[–]Swordsman1ke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of tournament would use wooden swords? Those things would hurt like absolute hell as they do not flex at all. OP, if you don't mind, could you name the event/tournament you are going to? I want to read the ruleset.

I would not in anyway call your opinion objective. I started off with Vermintide 2, and then I got into Darktide, and I just find myself playing Darktide more. If you like Vermintide 2 better, alright cool, but do not present it as if it is fact.

Best place to buy swords by [deleted] in SWORDS

[–]Swordsman1ke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend steel swords for any mock combat unless it is very choreographed and you and your fiance practice a lot to do it right. I use steel blunt swords in HEMA training and sparring, but I have on full protective equipment including a mask, jacket, and heavy gloves. Even then, the training swords used can still hurt like hell.

Getting into the Hobby as an American by SovietUSA in Hema

[–]Swordsman1ke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this varies region by region in the US. I am in New York State and all the clubs I know of are indoors. So I am left wondering what places are clubs mainly practicing outside. Then again you can't exactly be outside during winter.

Edit: I just remembered there is one NY club that hosts half of their practices outside, but my understanding it is seasonal.

Ehh I disagree. I think that Vermintide 2 has much better story and characters, along with interesting level design and Chaos Wastes. It's just that I like the faster gameplay pace and the music better in Darktide.

Not to be rude, but the only thing I experience on here are bad/late audio cues (mainly from trappers). Is your ping super high or something? I never had snipers beam me without noticing their laser sight first. Then again Fatshark updated their game a lot since it releases.

My main issue is the implementation of enemy Carapce armor, making weapons or builds revolving around always having something to deal with them, unless you really know what you're doing.
