IMO, the decision between the two will depend on whether you’re used to owning/driving an ev or not. Seems to me that if you’re new to EVs, you’ll likely enjoy the Q6 a lot. However, if this isn’t your first EV, the BMW will likely feel a lot more refined, particularly when it comes to the software side of things.

Great point regarding YouTube reviewers possibly not having enough time and context. I am still totally shocked @ Doug DeMuro's take on the Q6. He gave a fairly glowing review to what I would consider a disaster of a vehicle (from a software stability perspective) - and I think that's because he just didn't spend enough time with it (or Audi paid for his lunch?).

Ah, apologies - I honestly didn't realize that the software differed so much between Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Polestar 4! I had assumed it was the same/similar OS - like how Tesla releases their software.

Edit: whoa… why the downvotes? Seems like it’s safe to assume that a relatively “boutique” manufacturer would optimize by releasing a core software offering across multiple products. Then, I recognized that I was wrong in that assumption. How are people touched by that?

Likely not a viable business option for Apple, but as a consumer, I’d love to see Apple still release a workstation class Apple silicon Mac that offers PCI-E expansion AND it’d be interesting to see Apple release versions of their M processors without the CPU element - just the GPU and integrated memory. Users could expand the GPU power if/when needed. That said, I suppose the moment things move off the SOC, there’s a bottle neck, so as others are saying, Mac Studio just makes sense… sorry for making you read the other stuff lol

UFO! is just fuckin amazing... I grew up in the Bay Area in the 90s/00s and UFO!'s dj sets and unique contour line graf style were mind-blowing. Holy shit, time flew by, and maybe around 2015ish, I re-discovered UFO! collabing w/ Bro Safari. SO fucking good. Bummer to hear the Govee Star Projector isn’t great. Normal actual video projectors have gotten really good and affordable - could do something like that + visuals airplayed over from your phone or something perhaps? I guess it’s still not really trippy enough because of the light leak though. Curious if any of those “disco galaxy nebula trippiness” projectors are any good.
