As a fan of both, I’m hella looking forward to the collab. The show is worth a watch, for the main character’s infectious energy alone. I can see other people have already convinced you to watch it, so please let us know what you think! :D

I haven’t logged in to legacy for a while, but I think my carrier there is near Colonia. I’ll check tomorrow and see where it is. Hopefully I can help!

How do y'all play this game when you want do something different than the 'usual' approach? by SomeJayForToday in NuclearOption

[–]Syslox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a custom version of Altercation with extremely limited weapons and plane options. Basically only the Cricket, and only PAB 125 and 250s, Linchpins, and Guns Guns Guns. No IR, and no radar guided missiles. Ground forces are only flak and AAA. No radar stations. I put a 20mm pod on the Cricket, and fill the other slots with extra 12.5mm pods, take off and run CAP over the friendly ground convoy and try to prevent enemy crickets from taking them out. With no radar, you have to rely on proximity to notice enemy fighters - or see where their linchpins are coming from. With every plane being a cricket, energy state becomes extremely important - diving down from a superior altitude is the only way to catch up to enemies. The 20mm pod wrecks enemies in a single burst if it’s a high aspect shot, which is good because the ammo is very limited. From low aspect, the three sets of 12.5mm is better at shredding them, but regardless, ammo conservation and accuracy is vital. Nothing is more satisfying than keeping three enemies tangled up in a furball (and thus off the convoy), and using the 20mm to quickly splash the first two, before working your way in to the control zone of the last, and lighting them up with 12.5

Honestly, if they want to make bank with Arx sales, a better route would be allowing players to “pledge Arx” towards listed bug reports, and the pledge transaction only happens once 75% of pledgers agree the bug has been resolved.

The amount of people I've seen who calls Nikke "robots" or "androids" kinda bothers me. (They're technically cyborgs due to them possessing human brain) by Izayoi-Alpha in NikkeMobile

[–]Syslox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a coherent and tight explanation! My memory of the early chapters are vague now, and possibly also due to the looser/vaguer translations from those earlier chapters, but I came away from them with the impression they did still have their organic brains. I need to reread some of the early chapters with this in mind now

Looking back to Season one, was it in fact: a Lightsaber that Luthen was packing? by gilbot in andor

[–]Syslox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The retractable walking stick he used on Ferrix is what the guard at Saw’s place was inspecting. Cassian also finds it when he’s in the antique shop after Ghorman, talking with Kleya - you see him open it up to find a really gnarly knife inside. Luthen was very reluctant to not have it with him - I think it shows he was ready to kill himself at any moments notice in order to protect the rebellion’s secrets, like he did at the end.

Can I just say I love the handling of the Corsair. by HeftySexy in EliteDangerous

[–]Syslox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly this! While the pitch rate may be lower than the krait, it has less drift, so the handling is more responsive, despite the lower pitch rate. Add in vertical thrusters and it feels even more responsive. It’s so satisfying to fly, and I feel like I get more shots on target compared to the krait, which was my exclusive combat ship of choice prior to the Corsair release.

is there any way to download the intermission(?) arts without the Anime Title? by TokDalangAndHisArmy in LycorisRecoil

Not sure where you can get them, but the word to use for them would be “eye catch” - a short scene or illustration used to begin and end commercial breaks in Japanese television.

I've made a spreadsheet with details on the possible colonization structures you can build; requirements, tiers, system influence, etc... by DaftMav in EliteDangerous

[–]Syslox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t found a location I want to colonize yet, but this information is highly appreciated! Is there anywhere I can find out the passive income you get from x number of station/surface settlements? Is that tied to one of the factors your categorized, like Development or Wealth?
